Jul 13, 2008Bloodlust_Fox posted a message on Diablo III Thoughts From Ex-Blizzard EmployeeBarbarian is the most OP? Maybe, but after the 1.10 patch (enigma introduced) paladins were by far the most Overpowered. No debate. For proof just look at how many more HR's a pally torch is worth than a barb torch.Posted in: News

True, I could see it being fun for bosses that you rarely kill/grind for items, think the smith from D II?
But keep bosses that we will be running often subject to all damage.

Ya I was a fan of this idea when they first mentioned it several months ago. I am an avid fan of both Diablo, Starcraft, and WC III (would be one of WoW, but I have at least something of a life lol) and I was happy when they said they would have an xbox like achievement system for all their franchises. I feel that most things in WoW require large amounts of specific time (some of my friends always raid at 8, so it is not something they can just pic up and do) so the achievements would likely follow suit.
I feel Diablo is much more pick up and go, so the achievements will be similar. I am sure there would be some longer ones as well, but they won't be a pain in the ass like some WoW quests.
Also, this brings up the question, how many different characters can one player have per an account if some achievements are character based?

I never really knew what they were saying... I was just focused on kicking butt!

Combined with monsters they already did bring back, that's pretty much every enemy from d1.

@gabbzy: How can corpse explosion be effective if you can only have 12 active bodies on screen at a time.
A big problem with the necro is that he would require a shitload of processing power.

Broken as in OP? Not at all. Nobody used sets after 1.11, maybe the occasional tal rasha, but that's it...
They said the real problem was that by the time you completed the set, you were already too good for it, so you had to give it to a lower level char. (Which is fine, but they said its not what they had in mind.)

Where exactly is the druid homeland?
