ahh crap thanks anyway for your help rakanishu

EDIT: since i cant upgrade the graphs card on my macbook i can still upgrade the dsplay to work with better res color and brightness and contrast and of course a bigger screen..... so all those things will surely help a little bit im thinking of the dell 24" ultra sharp 2408WFP recommended by most of my friends as the greatest monitor they ever laid eyes on...not only doe it go landscape mode but it also has built in functionallity for portrait mode by turning the screen(first you must extend the screen back 30degrees other wise it will hit the stand...) it has 2 dvi-d with hdcp ports 1 hdmi (for my xbox) and a display port a composite.. a s-video and a component and composite video along with the normal vga..then 2 more usb ports so im thinking great connectivity but wtf is a display port AND IS there any use of it on a macbook because thats what im currently using.. along with vivd colors and amazing contrast ratio it supports 1080p the best hd quality out there so i was just wondering is this a good item for a budget person because im only 13 years old
If one can afford such hardware, one can indeed afford a PC of a caliber sufficient for the game... bar a display. Indeed, proceeding with such a course of action will guarantee one an enjoyment of the game to an extent exceeding even that of certain unmentionable physical acts. Allowing oneself the procurement of large displays is but one part of a solution, such is deficient in many ways. One would not be errant with the misplacement of ones jaw at the color, contrast ratio, resolution, and dimensional footprint of such. But one would indeed err should one diminish the importance of the graphical component of ones system, for that is indeed the most essential, most critical, most significant of engines driving ones graphical quality output.

Utilize but a mediocre engine, as that contained within ones 13" MacBook, and ones output would be be curtailed in color, quality and resolution through large displays, such as ones Dell 2408WFP. But why? Well, should one prefer smooth gameplay, one would be forced to tone down most other aspects of the game for the sustainment of adequate framerates at such high resolutions. This encompasses texture color and quality, color depth, anti-aliasing, anisotropic filtering, special effects, level of mesh detail, and so forth.

Thus, as one can imagine, graphical quality would in fact diminish, not improve, following purchase. One would indeed be better off experiencing the game within ones Macbook display, or replacing ones dream of acquiring the 2408WFP with that of a PC.

Behold unfortunate souls, the original splash flash:
    http://us.media.blizzard.com/232309/_images/splash.swf

One could thus extract the splash image contained within. A touch diminutive perhaps, but it is indeed such one longs for. But nay, for that is not all. Behold, the original wallpaper:
    http://eu.blizzard.com/diablo3/_images/wallpapers/wall1/wall1-1680x1050.jpg

As mentioned prior, such lacks the head of terror, but such is indeed in a dimension supremely appropriate for ones requirements. But nay, for that is not all. Behold, the colossal head of terror:

Thus, should one combine both elements into a singular whole, one would produce this uncompressed, spatially precise, proportionally accurate, 1680x1050 wallpaper:
    http://img376.imageshack.us/img376/9061/16801050gi6.png

Acquire it whilst you can lest certain hosting websites deem such inappropriately large. The end.

do any of you know an external gpu that will work with the latest macbook because all that ive seen are these small adapetrs which i cant seem to find out exactly what they do or...these things that require a new monitor(no problem) but a pcie slot which unfourtunatley only the first macbook pro model has...i dont know why they took it out..it wouldve been so nice for me to have....any ideas thanks alot if you can help
omfg i hate this thread it make me wanna throw away my newly bought mac and buy a mac pro which i can change the graphs to the geforce 8800gt or the radeon 2600\
On the contrary friend, the most significant graphical component of Apples portable line is but an 8600GT. Sufficient perhaps for mediocre to moderate performance, one would not expect such to be befitting of large HD displays.

Edit: Ah, you were referring to the desktop rather than the laptop variety. Indeed, such a course of action would thus provide you with supremely adequate HD gameplay.

Pertaining to the question mentioned initially... there are no such solutions presently available necessitating such technology. Thus, one such as yourself would likely find the purchase of an affordable PC obligatory.

w8 whats better a fire gl ml or crossfire
Whilst theoretically capable through special modifications, the FireGL range of video cards attains its worth within workstations, not gaming desktops. The puzzlingly skewed premium demanded more than adequately furthers its excludability for mass utilization.

The FireMV, should one assume such was what one was indeed referring to, yields not one smidgen of performance value. Emphasis centers on extended visibility across multiple graphical display apparatuses, principally utilized by financial market observers.

Finally, distinct from the preceding descriptions, one would not characterize Crossfire as any particular product model. It is indeed a connection infrastructure, allowing for the utilization of multiple video cards within a singular desktop gaming chassis.

Thus, should one consider each of the aforementioned elements as distinct technologies designed expressly as solutions for differing situations, one would find the placement of rank between each to be particularly illogical. Perhaps the closest answer one might derive from the initial query would be that of Crossfire, albeit an extravagant solution whereby but a singular card would suffice.

i cant update my graphics card...lol i run a macbook 13.3 inch laptop...lol but what i am doing to up my preformance with this game graphically is get a 32 or 37 inch tv for chriistmas and get the mini dvi-dvi converter then buy the dvi-hdmi converter plug them in and put it into the tv and make sure i have a 1080p tv and set it all to the right settings get a nice mouse and keyboard and wa la perfect qmuality sound and graphs without changing a thing...
Allow an individual such as myself to be a bearer of abysmal news friend. Whilst an admirable goal on one hand, the purchase and subsequent utilization of the HDTV display will serve little to enhance the performance of the game and the graphics. Your MacBook comes packaged with an integrated Intel GMA X3100 video chip, insufficient even for the low resolution LCD the laptop comes with should one consider antiquated DirectX based games. Indeed, attempting to run at full HD resolutions for those games would cripple framerates to such a degree that even substandard gameplay becomes non-existent, nevermind 'perfect' for modern games such as Diablo3.

Thus, should one be serious about gaming on such displays, one might consider investing in something more profound.

Rather than the subjugation and wholesome exploitation of mounts and other bestial forms of transportation, what does one think of inadvertent piggybacking? Allow oneself a scene mentally re-created of our intrepid hero within the bowels of a murky dungeon. Whilst slaying demons and other vulgar forms of ravenous creatures room after room, our illustrious champion feels a mighty jolt beneath the gleaming blood stained floor. Alas, what appeared to be blood is in fact prodigious serpentine scales of the likes no mortal had ever witnessed! The gargantuan beast slithers through miles and miles of cavernous rock, indeed a behemoth of a den. Strange creatures start climbing up the sides of the great monster, spurring our hero to action, completely obliterating all within sight, all the while with the leviathan advancing towards an unknown and distant destination. Thus, our hero has but little choice but to move forward, towards the darkened distance, towards what should be its head...

Akin to a rudimentary form of 'Shadow of the Colossus' perhaps, but certainly at a level of suitability and sense of adventure greatly surpassing that of plain mounts.

Worry not of personal offense friend, one indeed welcomes rational responses utilizing logical forethought, respectful language, and a calm and contained demeanor. Likewise, one also appreciates the inducement of intrigue through ones language. Refreshing communicative diversity in online forums is sorely lacking these days.

Ah, but if one were to reread the opening post, one would undoubtedly come to the conclusion that one has mistaken the meaning of the suggestion. The suggestion is, as such, that the skill be given to one class, yet since not all classes are known as of now it might be that another character than the barbarian ends up having it. Again, as not all classes are known so far, it could very well be that another class could be announced that would indeed make sence to use such a skill.
But oh, should an alternative class indeed utilize such a skill with abilities akin to several Barbarian skills, the proposed skill would effectively span two classes. The arguments presented in the preceding paragraphs would thus be verified, thereby precluding the consideration of the suggestion.

As for the Witch Doctor, in particular, one would find that his style of gameplay does not suit such a skill very well.
Ah indeed, a counterargument one is in agreement with. The reasoning had been cogitated based on the suitability of their seemingly respective mutual origins, thus such an observation may not be grossly errant.

Yet, this would make one think it was a more powerful version of the dreaded teleportation spell, which many people argue, is already too useful. While a decent idea lore-wise, then, for this reason I, personally, would not expect it to be implemented in such a way.
Indeed akin to the teleportation spell, the suggestion differs in that ones mental constitution would be utilized in much the same way as certain skills do within the gameplay video, implemented with a cooldown of some duration. Thus, whilst one could conceivably exploit the skill for such a purpose as to bypass large crowds of monsters, one would find ones constitution at such a critical level, coupled with a delayed casting of the spell, one may not be able to survive the ensuing surrounding of monsters around oneself. A risk far negating that of its benefits.

Would someone please tell me their opinion of the 8600gt graphics card. I would like to update from my on board graphics of 6150 nforce 430 (HP a6200n, 3 gigs ram). I however do not want to spend a lot of money.

I could get a 8600gt for about 50-60 dollars with a mail in rebate and would like some opinions as well as a suggested brand. It seems eVGA is supposed to be good. According to what I read this card would be good. As it is I may just wait it out until D3 is released or closer to when it is released. The demo (when it comes out) will also be a huge decider for me whether I will upgrade. Maybe cards will be cheaper by then also?

    Thanks.
The 8600 is probably adequate, however for optimal gaming, one would find it to be sorely lacking in every area.

Perhaps one such as yourself might consider the accumulation of monetary assets such that the affordability of powerful video cards pose no troublesome conundrum? Should the credibility of the supposed release date in a timeframe of no more than two years be palatable, one should find it exceedingly effortless to reserve a small amount for upgrading purposes. Let us consider your situation. $60 is unfortunately merely adequate for video cards in the computing world. One would consider $200 to be perfectly suited for the purpose, allowing oneself a level of gameplay surpassing that of sufficient, from a tremendous range of titles. Let us consider the mathematics involved:

    ($200-$60) / 24 months = ~$6 per month

Thus, one such as yourself, would be required to save $6 every month, or 20 cents per day, over the course of two years for one to afford a powerful video card beyond the one selected. The question thus, is does one find such a reasonable solution to ones issue?

A rather passable concept, but should one examine the proposal with minute scrutiny, one would indeed find several unfortunate shortcomings precluding it for serious consideration. The foremost would be the concept of classless skills. Developers, and indeed players themselves, have insisted on the purging of such skills since the distinction between classes would be ill-defined. Appreciation of potent skills as the aforementioned would reduce in perceptive value should every class exert likewise qualities.

A secondary reason would be the consistency of the skill. Whilst powerful simians may indeed exist in the jungle strewed territories of this realm, the utilization of its form does not appear consistent with either fantasy or Earth-based lore and fable. A comparative analogy as such would be that of the Druids Werebear and Werewolf abilities. Both concepts exists in both realms in one form or another, and are typically associated with locals of European origin. Druids, being of a nature-based wizard class, would indeed find suitability with the integration of polymorphic abilities associated with certain animals that are feared and dreaded by inhabitants of such regions. No such reasoning exists for either ape or were-ape skills. Should any class utilize such an ability however, one would expect that to be of the Witch-Doctor. However the lore aspect still remains to be elucidated and reasoned out.

The final reason would center on the specificity of the skills attributes itself. As described, it bears a striking resemblance towards existing Barbarian skills. Should such a skill indeed be seriously considered for inclusion by the team, one would expect drastic changes be made to better distinguish it amongst other skills. For instance, rather than rampage through dense crowds of monsters, one could instead have the character dematerialize and rematerialize through a dimensional warping phenomenon, towards a central point within the nest, and induce a powerful explosion expunging the souls of every nearby creature...

One would indeed find satisfaction at the prospect of the developers continuing their 'Sin' theme. A commensurable followup to creature known as the 'Thousand Pounder - Gluttony Incarnate' might, as one would expect, be that of the forbidden fruit. Thus perhaps the title 'Carnal Fiend - Lust Incarnate' would be adequately proportionate for a creature serving the aforementioned purpose.

As to the suggestion of imaginative monsters, an individual such as myself, would find a tremendous liking towards the inclusion of a mighty denizen of darkness, found within the great abyssal pits of the Dreadlands plains. An abomination of a beast, this chimeral creature utilizes a multitude of supremely flexible appendages for mobility, and four pairs of especially prodigious horn-rimmed limbs for the tearing away of flesh. What sits upon its shoulders is that of sheer terror, a great eyeless and gaping jaw filled with rows of serrated teeth. Legends once speak of it being a creature of light, a guardian of peace, and an embodiment of grace. An ancient parable:

Whence thy gaze beholdth a shadow, it taketh away, unto which it cast a light.
Whence thy heart grips of sorrow, it taketh away, unto which it giveth thee might.
Whence thy soul leaveth a morrow, it taketh away, unto which it bestoweth but life.
O saviour, doest we the unworthy asketh, hath thine grace comest to saveth us unto the passeth of Sanctuary?

Scribers have since argued and debated for millennia as to the details of what had occured following the creation of the ancient parable. For once existed a creature of light, now terrorizes as a creature of death. It was henceforth bestowed upon it the name of 'Horror Elemental - Flesh Behemoth '.

The reasons for the creatures altered specificity was completely unknown to Sanctuarys inhabitants and has remained so to the present. It has since disappeared, and what was once a threat, was then passed into lore, and finally into legend...

... what other mob mechanic do u want to see?
A boss with various flavors of minions besides it, one of the latter of which willingly bestows and sacrifices their life and flesh such that it reinvigorates the reduced life of the former. Another of which may surround the former, and focus their energies towards an elevated point immediately above it, with the purpose of having the former utilize said power as a great weapon against all.

Thus, one would find it absolutely critical to the dispensement of such helpful advocates, whilst dodging destructive attacks of both the former as well as the latter at the same time.
