I think you are getting upset a little prematurely. One thing I noticed about the socketting page was that weapons were NOT included among items that could have a socket added. This says one of two things to me:
1) Weapon sockets haven't been added yet and are on the to do list, or the ability to socket weapons doesn't come until a higher jewel crafting level.
2) Weapon sockets wont be added until the first expansion, and with it there will probably be new items with which to fill those sockets. Remember, when Diablo 2 first came out there were only gems. After LOD, jewels and runes were added.
Also, remember that there is the Mystic Artisan that will do item enchantments. We will probably see a lot more variety in modifiers from this particular artisan.
Looking at just the gem selection is STILL (and this is not me getting prematurely upset), a dissapointment. Ruby Helm increased level gain? Really, buy the time your expected to find the last 3 levels in a game you'll probably be in inferno..... Oh wait? isnt that max level end game content... Shouldnt they have made the last 3 ruby gems something else? Like increased potion and health globe number value, blah blah. 1%, 2%, 3%. There sloppy and i'd hope this gets tightened up before release. If there going to push back a games release time we want to see improvements on bad ideas or semi place holders like these.

Regardless of the AH, why do we have this feature in a gear based game? It wasnt in the past diablo's why is it in D3? I'm starting to loath the fact this game has any influences from WOW the more i play this game.
i started a monk today and bought 2 weps for him, thank god they were both below 9k gold but i'm sure if someone wasted there time with any larger amount of money, they would of thought of uninstalling the moment they figured it out. really at the end of the day blizzard is just giving people another reason to be pissed off...

Bul-Kathos Wedding band...... it takes TWO!!! to be in a marriage! maybe i want to wear the other freaking ring? Can't duel wield the Legendaries and there going to be fixing to suck compaired to rares. But i guess with blizzard they want items to be on the AH so they'll force any reason on us to sell items.

i dont think you understand...No.. its obvious you dont understand what everyone else sees here. How do you post pictures that i'm guessing are MONTHS old of diablo (when it was probably at a better state) as current information, It's like a minor slap in the face to the community that BEGGED for a good but we didn't get that. We got a sub par game and proof that the makers of that game are almost no longer fit to manage the game...

As for runewords. i'm glad blizzard decided to discontinue them. Things like enigma turned the game into dragon ball z teleport fighting and thats just wrong...
On the topic of UI i think the designer for their ui needs to be fired. People complained about his SUCKNESS when sc2 first came out and if its the same guy, (which it looks like it is) the guy seriously needs to be fucking canned! there giving us this stupid UI based of a console based designer which is just a completely different mind set, not one were found of apparently either. not to mention this douche bag is KILLING our social aspect.
something they should add in the auction house is the ability to have trade. direct trade. not just buy, buy, buy.. Id like to have a social moment with people at some freaking point. not this COMPLETELY secluded experience there currently giving us. If they fix those things, they'll be doin shit right.

eerrr..... how do we express the difference between delivering crap or patients to polish. Maybe you shouldn't remark on blizzards professional standards because i can name a few other gaming franchise who have product that SUCKS MASSIVE DI*K. blizzard is having a very good successful time right now and reguardless of there minor server issues (which is the least of there problems) the game so far doesnt have any major bugs, and is still pretty damn polished

not to mention you cant calculate diablo past phase 1 summons adds, and you'll have to run around trying to get health back for the non healing builds every one has

honestly there story telling started sucking since WOW: burning crusade. Back then they make a complete 180 illidain's character and completely made the legion who was the bigger enemy second priority.

This was the same build i was thinking back when they did the build contest and i entered with it. Although i took it as a joke i'm seriously going to use this build come the 15th. I took mobility over everything else with life-steal as your second priority then Stack health.
