(Sorry for suddenly busting into something else)

In the storyline, they say that the heroes of ALL Sanctuary were preparing to kill the Evil. So, the characters must come from all over the world.

    -The Barbarian from the North
    -The Witch-Doctor from the South-East
    -A Vizjerei from the East
-Some warrior from the West or South (Paladin or battle-priest-like)
-Some ranged character from the North-West

    And expansion characters, any ideas?

posted a message on I bet it's all Cain...
Cain is not corrupted, as he helped every hero in their quest since Diablo 1. What explains he has survived in Tristram?, you say: He was old and the last of the Horadrim. They caged him so that he stays in the storyline.

Then, what explains he has survived in Harrogath? The destruction of the worldstone has not destroyed Harrogath, only the chamber (maybe Mt. Arreat).

Then, in Diablo 3, Cain was looking for the presence of Evil in Tristram because he felt that the destruction of the worldstone had corrupted a part of the world.

For Blizzard, Cain is only a witness of all the story of Diablo.

And for Tyrael, he was never corrupted. Angels don't usually help mortals, but Tyrael did. BUT, he was probably corrupted by the destruction of the worldstone and he helped Diablo. (Meteor from the sky).

They also say in the introduction text (frontpage) : the heroes of Sanctuary to defend the mortal world against the rising powers of the Burning Hells – and even the failing luminaries of the High Heavens itself.

What I think is that we can expect some facts:

-There is a full-melee char (Barb)
    -A dark Summoner/caster hybrid (witch-D)
-A ranged character( bows, probably throwables and agility skills)
-A pure spell caster (as usual in all games)
-Something melee with a certain twist (uh...paladin like???)

    And for the expansion:
    -Probably another hybrid
    -Probably a surprise (stealth-like?)

    Do you guys agree?

    posted a message on I don't like the Witch-Doctor
I completely trust Blizzard, as all of their games were best-sellers. The witch-doctor may be very interesting and is NOT a clone of the necromancer. And for the ones who say ''Fireballs are only for sorcerers!!'' this is totally false. Much characters had elemental attacks in D2 and they weren't related to the sorceress.

I do hate the name of the witch-doctor but the main concept is that it's some kind of voodoo shaman using natural summons, spirits and alchemy for his skills. (By the way, for the fireball again, if you look in the video, you will see a fire spirit at the place he has thrown his fireball.)

    The list would be:

    -Barbarian
    -Witch Doctor
    -Rogue (kind of)
    -Sorcerer
    -Paladin (name may be modified)

And VERY probably 2 others for the expansion :)

    -Monk (basically from hellfire)
-Something special we've never seen (shape shifting??)
