I think WOW players can't criticize unless they had played Diablo. I had played WOW only for a year but I think Diablo is not about how it looks, its about how the gameplay is and how fun it is. Diablo players would know that its not about the environment, mostly it is about the gameplay.
Dude I played D2 for a long time...What I meant here that you complete the game very fast on each of the difficulties so the flow is very fast as it is next time read him/her and my reply first before assuming stuff, I said nothing about grinding for uber items. D3 team want it faster on behalf of other aspects of the game like Radios light and dark scary background, It has now health orbs what it need faster gameplay than this for, Isn't it enough?
keep the scary theme for ppl who are fan of this style like myself.

Oh my bad, I took it as, once you beat the game, you moved on to another game.
Yea, it was pretty fast, however 2 things.
#1: That's just the demo of D3, and only the dumbest developers in the industry would show a demo that is super dark(half the things, people wouldn't beable to see in a demo video).
#2: With all truethfulness, D2 was probally too dark in some areas(so dark infact, even with light radius, it was barely illuminated), so they are probally gonna sway slightly away from that at very least.
PS. Aside from the basic flow of the game, I wouldn't take the demo at face value(that the entire game will be like that, definately not face value about something minor, like lighting, since that would be like the last thing to worry about before the game is released).
as I see it the "flow" doesn't get hurt by it, if only a little.
The game isn't going to last you 3 months of constant lvling (per difficulty) so what's the point in hurting the flow a little...Im not playing god of war I want it a little more. and D2 was fast imo how long it took you to finish normal? or nightmare? not long huh.
well if you know you have the right eq to handle anyone you won't be so afraid to enter anywhere.
I don't know what game you were playing, where It's about beating the game, and then you're done, but it sure the hell wasn't Diablo 2.
Aside from beating it once to get the Cube, it was all about the loot, and Cows of course, MOOOOOO lol.
PS. If you're not obsessed with loot hunting, and maxing a char potential by doing so, not to mention PvPing, as well as crushing monsters with your newly found power, Diablo in general is probally not the game for you lol, but I never knew anybody who didn't like to hunt for treasure.
Are you crazy, I tried WoW to shut my friend up, when I say WoW sucks, and aside from the char being 3D, it looks nothing like WoW, not even remotely close, nor is any of the gameplay like WoW.
If anything, it looks a lot like Diablo 2, just a bit upgraded, and added twists(like interactive surroundings).
PS. Also just for argumental sake, btw WoW got the whole char 3D design concepts from Diablo 2, so no, it looks/plays nothing loke WoW.

Really, Wow is one of the worse, and crappiest designed(system wise) MMO I have ever tried(and I've tried alot of mmorpgs, just to see if It's any good).
