I think they could revert the character's inventory back to D2 like, but make the stash 1 slot inventory. That way, you could store more stuff in the stash, and the stash would actually be a lot more helpful when it comes to keeping your items, but the character's inventory would not be so user friendly.
Potions are still in the game, you can see them being used in the gameplay if you watch, especially the Assault Beast fight.
Are you sure about that? You could see at least one potion drop from a monster or a chest in the trailer, but i don't remember seeing anyone using one.
Just a heads up. In real life tattoos have been around for thousands of years literally. So for you to say that there are no tattoos in
Sanctuary is a bit ignorant. The Barbarian hails from a tribal heritage. if you look at most tribes throughout history from American Indians, to some African tribes, the Hawaiians, and the mowries, and many south American tribes people, they have been decorated in tattoos since the beginning of there existence...So there is good reason to believe that The Barb was tatooed and that the OG has a good point as to where they went.
It was probably war paint, not tattoos.
From the Diablo 2 manual:
"An account of one skirmish recounts how hordes of Barbarian tribesmen silently appeared where
none had been but moments before. Their bodies painted in mysterious designs and their faces howling
as they charged like the fierce mountain winds, the tribesmen descended
on the invaders."
I'm going to play both male and female versions of each class. The males and females will probably have slightly different backround stories and dialogue.
There has been a lot of discussion on these boards about the art direction Blizzard has taken with Diablo 3, while the music and the sound of the game has hardly been discussed at all. I find this kind of strange because I've always felt that the music of diablo is what had the biggest effect on the mood and tone of the games.
So what are your opinions about the music? Is it dark and gothic enough? Does it fit in with what we listened to while playing the earlier games?
Here are links to some of the music blizzard has released so far:
They'll probably include some sort of a sword and shield warrior. If it's not going to be a paladin, I'm hoping for a wizard/fighter hybrid. Instead of using holy magic like the paladin, he'll use elemental spells and abilities. Something similar to the mercenaries in Diablo 2, act 3.

Love this idea.

I just watched it again, the only time that happens is when he runs over a health orb.

I was asking if he was sure that potions were used in the trailer. Bashiok's quote said nothing about that

When did he say that?

Mount Arreat isn't there anymore.
