I love watching the Barb videos on the D3 site. Watching his awesome power destroy minions, and watching the blood and bodies flying all over the screen....the barb is a man beast for sure.
Terrible ideas. If you honestly believe these ideas are "good"....go design a game of your own. Because to be honest it sounds like you're not interested in the Diablo storyline at all, just about getting "cool items" and beating a computer game. Diablo is great because of its lore, and how the plot plays out. If you don't get that, then all hope is lost for you.
-First of all, That Dr.A poster CANNOT spell for sh*t, so I'm not even going to consider his "arguements" legit. Besides, it looks like he's pulling all his "facts" from what other people are saying and posting, and really isn't up to date on any knowledge of D# thus far.
-Second, Diablo3 isn't even at the Beta testing stage yet, so why so much discussion about how it looks now? There is still loads of work to do, and it hasn't even had a release date yet. I could see arguements over the art diresction making sense if the release date was this year, but its not. Meaning Blizzard has all the time in the world to change things as THEY see fit.
-Lastly, these art direction threads are getting old...Blizzard is going to make Diablo 3...people are going to buy it...said people will play it...some will like it...some will hate it...end of discussion. Personally, I'm not goign to get butt-hurt over somethign I have ZERO control over.
As far as Tyrael being playable....There is no female Tyrael running around in the realm of diablo 3. In my honest opinion, this idea just wasn't thought out very well at all. Sorry.
I have no real complaints. Some oof the graphics look a little too smooth, adding a sort of cartoon vibe. But then I see the blood on the ground, dead people hanging from hooks, and that all kind of balances out. I will definately be playing reguardless!

Any thoughts on the second image? Upon further investigation, there is a man on the cliff to the left...and it appears as if he could be summoning something???
I was flipping through the artwork on the diii website and loved the Crater Troop artwork. As someone readily anticipating the arrival of this game, I'm excited to see what that particular level/region will contain. Can't wait to hack and slash my way through there!
Also, image 58/63 in the artwork files. The hurricane-esque image...could this be some kind of hidden city being revealed? Like it was lost in the desert and is somehow emerging to the eye of the beholder? I'm not extremely familiar with the Diablo lore, so if anyone knows more and could debunk this hypothosis, that'd be good.
