Great marsh is prerty cool how you think people complete the countess without going there. Countess some nice exp in normal.

Great Marsh (Act III), not Black Marsh (Act I)
I find Act III to be boring, the Great Marsh was tiring, but they advised us GREAT Marsh.

I actually used stamina potions a lot. Good for backtracking without having to stand there for a few seconds. Mostly for impatient players like me.

Of course no one liked how Duriel sometimes dropped nothing, but that's the nature of the game, you're never guaranteed anything. It's pretty widely accepted that Duriel isn't the best choice for MF runs anyway.

I'll admit the corpse explosion stuff really pissed me off on hardcore. But there was much worse stuff than that, like getting iron maidened in the middle of a whirlwind or zeal.

    Totally agreed.
I can't stand waiting my stamina to recover.
Duriel is a one time per difficult fight, ONLY.
    Iron Maiden=dead barbarian.

I think the article was just his personal opinion.

A little extra question about the Wizard: What is the "Silence" attribute of the Arcane damage type? What does it do?
I understand that it works with enemies spellcasters, when they are silenced they can't use magic attacks.

I agree that endless jails, catacombs etc. get boring at some point.

Totally. Specially Kuraast sewers and dungeons.

diablo1 was almost nothing but catacombs..and everyone was happy..

Diablo got four levels of Dungeons, then Catacombs, then Caves and finally Hell.
The first time you play it's always a surprise when things change.

So true that part about Act 4. Was really disapointing mostly because of it's shortness.

But then again, i'll never forget the first time i stepped into the Chaos Sanctuary.

That feeling of... oh my gosh this is it!, D3 has to create that same feeling.

    Agreed.

And I think Diablo III MUST have ditzy-but-well-endowed "evil" brunettes!!!

@Thrasher: Actually the colour used to depict arcane is a purple that leans more towards blue and not more towards red. The one you used is almost pink.
It wasn't I who used it was Eldritch.
And here is his explanation for the ones who missed it.

This colour, which is the one most frequently used, from Baldur's Gate to Hellgate: London, doesn't exist in the light spectrum. Whereas every other colour has its own position in the spectrum, we see this colour because we are presented with the otherwise brain-breaking situation of detecting wavelengths from both ends of the light spectrum at once. Generally speaking, our brain has two options for interpreting the input data:[alphalist=a]
Sum the input responses to produce a colour halfway between red and violet in the spectrum (which would in this case produce green – not a very representative colour of a red and violet mix)
Invent a new colour halfway between red and violet[/alphalist]This is the evidence that the brain takes option b – it has constructed a colour to bridge the gap between red and violet, because such a colour does not exist in the light spectrum -- since it isn't actually a wheel, but a finite line from low to high wavelengths.

What better colour for arcane magic than one that doesn't exist but is produced by our minds when presented with a visual paradox? I always grin.

    I think purple really fits.

I like the orb, it's a good addition.
They could increase your damage based on the element of the orb.
Like electric orb adds to lightning, it would be useful.
