I really think this is just a new look for Diablo and I thank Blizzard for making it looks so good. I don't understand why people think the graphics are horrible and too colorful. I am positive that there will be more dark/gloomy places.

Retribution;277327']What makes you think you're so specially entitled to enjoying the game anymore then us? Maybe we should petition to ban adults from playing. It's about as possible and legal as banning children from playing the game. Since they cannot restrict a group of people based on Sex/Race/Age. The system where they ask for age or credit card is flawed because it is indirectly related to age., anyway of direct restriction would probably cause some problems.

Don't you hate it when an adult comes in, and just because they see some flaw in your gaming style they go "ZOMG LOOK FUCKING KID GET OFF MY GAME/INTERNET, FUCKING NOOB FUCKER GET OFF!"? It get's annoying. Although i find it easy to simply switch games to Private, adults seemingly cannot do this and as a result; incessantly make threads asking Blizzard to ban children from Battle.net.

Don't go throwing your ESRB rating of "M" at us, you know that has no real value. It's just information that parents and children and adults alike can take into consideration.

    So, yay or neigh.

If you think I'm 100% serious in this thread, it's just a spoof on the floodings of threads on banning children from D3 i have been seeing.

I just threw in a moderately thought out argument that is more likely then not, full of holes that will probably get me flamed.

I think this post is really useless.

I would try both, but I will mostly do females. I mean, I would rather watch a girl then a guy all the time.

I doubt that Blizzard will change much.
Maybe they will make the dungeons a little darker but they wont change how to outdoors look like where they want those places to be colorful

Fans or people do get the right to criticize but you guys are complaining about something that isn't suppose to be complained about. In my point of view, Diablo III looks like a fresh, kickass game. You fans can complain but you guys are complaining for stupid shit like how colorful it is and how cartoonish it looks. Blizzard said there will be a contrast and there will be dark and gloomy places in the game. And so what if the characters look a little cartoonish, at least they look badass. So all those "fans" should just shut up and complain about something there is to complain.

All Diablo fans that complain about Diablo III's art direction have to just shut up and trust Blizzard. You guys call yourselves fans, but it seems like you don't even thank Blizzard for coming up with Diablo III. Why can't you all just accept change, Blizzard also stated that there will be dark and gothic places. So many complainers.

Don't get me wrong, I have played Diablo I & II & LOD and I am a HUGE Diablo fan.

Just because it's not dark, it doesn't have to look all gay and cartoonish.
Lord of the Rings as rolemodel?

You think it looks cartoonish? I bet you think that because everyone else thinks that.

I personally think that all the diablo fans are being too picky about it. I am too a HUGE diablo fan and had played many many years but I think that the new graphics are fine and I trust Blizzard. Blizzard also had never failed us with their games so all those complainers have to stop whining over color.

    I'm calling it:

Diablo III, Starcraft II, and WoTLK will all have monthly subscriptions. They may or may not be subscribed to in the following way:
Any combination of games may be played online for x # of $'s. Or, multiple games accrue discounts (i.e. 1 game online $15, 2 games $14, etc.)

Project Hydra is a double entendre representing Diablo and his 3 heads, as well as the attempt to control the gaming market.

    Data to support theory:
Battle.net 2.0 is purported to have voice chat. A reasonable excuse for Blizzard to charge.

Diablo III will most likely not be a MMORPG
Starcraft paying monthly? I HIGHLY doubt that. It's simply impossible for them to make us pay for Starcraft II.

You guys all just have to learn to accept the graphics. I am too also a big Diablo fan but I am accepting what Blizzard is doing. It seems like they had worked very hard to make this game. So far they have worked on it for 4 years and it is still in early development.

posted a message on Please, Blizzard, let there be a monthly fee.
    Quote from "Murderotica" »
I been lurcking around this forum for about a week and finally registered. I just wanted to add my thoughts in about this. Read before you flame please.

There are many reasons I would like there to be a monthly fee, or at least wouldn't mind it.

    1. Keep the kiddies out. I am tired of 14 year old punks ruining my gaming experience. With a monthly fee, that is payable by credit card not game card, it would get rid of a lot of immaturity and would result in a better game. The game is rated M for a reason. Go watch your bob the builder and leave the gaming to the adults, thanks.

    2. If blizzard plans to regularly update this game like wow, then I don't mind one bit paying for the content. It would give extra money to blizz for new enhancements and whatnot. We were all complaining about how d2 hardly ever got updated. Well, why should they when they have no reason incentive to. Added levels, bosses, items, bug fixes, and world events is way worth the cost to me.

There are many other reason however those are the main two.

Also, something else i thought of. Let say they start out with a fee of 5-10 dollars a month. Thats cheap as hell. However, every time you are caught using a hack, cheat, or exploit they raise that price 5 dollars. It would be a incentive not to cheat because it would start effecting the wallet.

Lastly, to the people who say they they cant afford a monthly payment. Honestly, if you cant afford 15 bucks max a month then you really need to get a better job or something and not play games. Im sorry, but if you are struggling to pay that small ammount of money you have other issues.
Bring your lunch to work 3 days a MONTH and save that money.
Dont spend 19 bucks at the movies and have that money.
Dont buy a case of beer and you can have the money.
If you are responsible with it you can easily find extra money.

Well thats my two cents, flame on.

First, if blizzard makes this game a MMORPG, they will not charge 5-10 dollars a month. Lets get real, they are going to charge us 15 a month. Plus, if you add up that to one year its 180 a month and thats alot of money.

Second, The game has always been based around overwhelming odds and solo hack and slash glory. Turning it into an MMORPG would take away those factors. Team/faction play would be introduced and it would eliminate the “doomed” feeling one gets when playing the Diablo franchise.

Third, if you really dont like those kids, then just ignore them.

Just imagine this could be the first Blizzard game not to sell over 1,000,000 copies. What a day in history!

Uhmm Diablo is one of the their first games. There are ALOT of fans out there that were waiting SO LONG for Diablo III. That is not going to happen. It will probably win many many awards and most likely get Game of the Year. It may even pass WOW.
