They dont look like serious. They are approachin to a wow-like feeling with it. Witch doctor have to be an evil man. But he is not givin the feel of "evil" to me. He is just funny for me.

OK man, u are arguin the drawings, dont u feel anything from a game? All of them are JUST games?
I have grown up wif Diablo I. And i worship the D2. Yes, u cannnot feel the difference.

Thats all: we dont like the new styles feeling. We say it openly. It is not our work or responsibility changing or keeping the games design, its all Blizzards matter.

Realism is not necessary, you are right. But "serious lookin characters" are necessary i think. it can be all done with improving the details of characters.
Company will not loose anything if they off the green-blue light. Old shadow system is essential i think too..
But this changes would be good only for the "D2 maniacs" . I support them, cus i am some1 from them:D

It is hard to create a game, if it is an "evilness cult".
If the players are satisfyin from the "badness" of it, the game is becoming dangerous.

Diablo is not a game like the others. Diablo fanatics are the "real fanatics". "Fanatic" means, dangerous.

Who would like to see "more blood and ashes and fires and death and more death and more more death" ?
You are creating a game and people does not like it, becouse it is "lively".. It is not "dead". It is not "eviled".

    There is a psychological problem.
Yes, DIABLO'S BLOODY ENVIRONMENTS' ALL FANATICS HAVE PSYCHOLOGICAL PROBLEMS.
I have it too. It is my choice. And if Diablo 3 will not be for us, ehh, we would not play. I am sure some other companies would create an evilish/realistic/bloody/cult game for us. And now, the choice is not mine. It is Blizzards hard decision. Choose a side Blizzard. .

"Diablo" name has an energy too.. Maybe Blizzard would not success under this mountainy heavy task.

-sorry bout my poor english again-

People plays D2 for getting fun or cus of addiction?

You have not understood it. Any game gives you the "terrorified" feeling? Only Diablo. Diablo satisfies bad energies of people.

This Diablo III is not HELLISH. IT IS NOT TERROR. BUT DIABLO HAVE TO BE the TERROR. It's core is this.
    - diablo: lord of terror
baal: lord of destruction etc,) lol- u see an "evil" gameplay at D3? i couldnt

Ok, do not insert realism, but drop the funniness and add the f(n coolness and seriousness.. Its just fine for me. Characters are not dark&cool as D2's.

barbarian's face is look like my dead grand-grandfather. He could be a psycho like d2's. yes, i say it again and again, where is Necro? i want him back.
    :(

Voted "needs work", but it is too cartoony (More stylisation that attempted realism, Blocky handrails, absurd shoulder pads, smiling lion statue, a rainbow- THIS IS DIABLO! NO RAINBOW! NEVER!, curled and stylised foliage design..) and too Lord of The Rings influenced. The inside of the cathedral/dungeon is airey and elevated, with sparce objects and huge walkways. It also looks completely uninhabited. What happened to the cramped, blood-stained and flaming pentagramm'd dungeons of the series?
Enemies have also fallen into the trap of all rpg games of late- they're almost all grey-blue undead, with the exception of comical, obese zombies that release terribly animated, fixed group formation floating land eels (Same designer who made the rainbow?); the charging beasts (which I quite liked); the thousand pound cartoon zombie and the end boss.
    More fire and blood!
    Less middle earth, more middle-ages-europe!

Hear it Blizzard, please. We want to see a respectful game, a serious and classy game.

Do NOT influence from Lord of The Rings !!!!

Influence from tales and books have written about SATAN by Catholic Churh at medieval !!
Create a REAL HELL GAME !!

    please..
please do not forget, Diablo means Satan in spanish

    These are medieval shoulder pads

    Wow, ure right man!

And, i want to add stg

The new barbarian doesn't look like 'Barbarian". He is older than olders and his beard shows him like a dwarf !

look it, they give you the same feeling, an old, good man, he is not like killing... He is not a psycho like old "Barbarian"... He is a patriot maybe only..

He is a dwarf from fantasy books, and.. The impression and feelin is same.. When i choose this patriot dad, i will not want to kill monsters a lot.. He has not a crazy feeling

    I have changed my mind.
Necromancer must be back. I want to play with Necro at D3. Colors can stay as it if Necro comes back ; D

i need a cool an'dark character .. witch doctors and the other dark ones are cartoonish.

I think this color scheme is great and doesnt COME CLOSE to that of wow, not at all, im pretty sure the people who voted it needs to be more dark and grey are a little to dark and grey their selves and have to lighten up. and realize what it would actually look like if it were back in those times. diablo3 isnt some chalked up comic book that has way to much black splashed around the page to emphasize evil. if you dont like the colour scheme when the game comes out, you gothic kids get together and make yourself a mod so the game is black, cause if i rember, Lut gholien wasnt very black and grey in diablo 2, now hush up and let blizzard create their game, they havent failed us yet. have more faith get rid of some of that black blocking your brain from thinking realisticly.

    Lut gholien ..

Ure right maybe. But lut gholien's textures was more and more sharpen, is not it? This game is not sharp textured and designed.
People say "it must be more dark" , but maybe they mean "more sharp! When i play , it has to make me more angry!"

I loved every second of the gameplay video, and I assumed that there were going to be many different areas to explore, all with different feels to them. The colors and the graphics didnt bother me one bit. I loved it so much that I'm afriad to see it get tampered with cause Blizzard might be tempted to listen to a vocal minority.

If it means so much to people maybe they can give yall a post proc effect that you can turn off and on in video options, that gives everything a more grainy dark feel.

I just cant freakin wait to play, I love Diablo so much.

We all love Diablo so much;)

Somebody compares dwarfs wif zombies huh? Of course they have not similarities.
But feelin of terror is something serious, will D3 give us it?

Its a hard question for me.

Monsters mouths are comic. Faces are not realistic. Evil must be serious and human-looked. Badness is stg inside, when u change the faces to stg dirt, its not serious.

You know the series "Dragonlance"? Raistlin Magere was a magician. He looks like very terrory. But he seems respectful.

I want to see a class/hero like it:

Did u see any character as it?

    No..

Witch Doctor is a serious example of seriousness about the characters... Its not w3 man.. Its Diablo, its mean is Satan..

Mm... I thought it twice.. The Diablo-like feeling is not only from the colours..

The colours have to be darken.. But it is not enough..

Maybe Blizzard has workin bout Warcraft for a very log time and developers tastes are changed & approached to warcraft styles.

Who is developing this game? Feel being the bad one! And create a charismatic and lordish evil side & evil game !
The colors are the starting point.

You can put blood all over the walls and countless disembodied carcasses strewn along the ground...but if the graphics look like Hello Kitty online....it completely wrecks the "feeling".

I will say it again, the way you experience and "feel" a game is through visuals. The D3 visuals currently are not dark or grittier enough.

    It is absolutely right.
I want to add it, game needs a Necromancer-like cool and dark character.
