Well....If you chose the demons side, why would you go and kill you kin then? Like, if you choose to be on the demons side, doesn't that kind of kill the pvm side of this game? Since then, you wouldn't have anyone to kill in PvM since you're fighting demons?

I'm rooting for anything to make the boss fights more exciting, Diablo 2 was kinda easy when it came to bosses, especially if your character had the best gear, and even if not (moat trick at mephisto) it didn't make the boss fights exciting, either they were way too strong to kill (duriel) or you already had the best gear and you ended up mopping the floor with the bosses. I'd want them to be longer, that way it makes things more intense than a 5 second boss battle because your character has an attack called rape and you just spam that and it just rapes the boss so quickly its not even fun anymore.

I'm guessing Witch Doctor or Wizard. Going to go with Witch Doctor, faster mana, ranged, and a pet.

Whe Wizard doesn't have fast mana, range and pets?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure the wizard have all of that, PLUS the class has teleport-

I dont think you can teleport through walls anymore, and it has a cooldown I think. Wizard kinda has pets though, like that clone thing he/she can make. Range is up there too. Doesn't wiz use a different resource system though? I don't recall what its called...

Wizard's use arcane power or whatever... but why does that matter? It's just a resource system, and i don't think WD's ressourcesystem will be much different from the wizards... so..

also: having teleport is better than having NO teleport at all :) .. so wizard wins there still.

Wizards have mirror image, they have familiar (a pet) and also an archon (big pet)..

    so

Went on the diablowiki, you're right, arcane power and it says it regenerates faster than mana. Just, theres no way to increase it. Idk, Witch Doctor has that spirit walk to get away from monsters, gets him out of tough situations too. Well, I like the Witch Doctor better, he seems like a good break from the normal magic wielder, just like the Necro from D2...

Thats why I want to believe it, probably will never happen but it would be sickkkk

I guess it would be pretty could, but you also have to consider the fact that having something where the boss just hurls you through a wall along with the rest of the players could kinda break the mood of playing, like it stops the action a little. It would also suck if you were low on health and being smashed through a wall causes you to die lol. I think we should just stick to a cut-scene or something before or after killing the boss. I guess I'm just indifferent to these kinds of things =/

So we are fairly confident that Azmodan, Belial and Diablo are going to be 3 of the 4 big bosses. With everything we've seen so far, we actually have no idea how these bosses are going to play like and just thinking about it really excites me. So basically I just want some ideas or theories with how you think they will play. Speculate below.

Personally I want to believe (for diablo anyway) there is going to be an epic cut scene followed by a fight that isn't in one area. Like you take 1/3 of his health off and he gets stronger but the terrain changes like he knocks you through a wall or you fall down a level from the damaged ground.

I don't think there has been any information regarding like any cut-scenes or anything. The thing is, what if you are playing a multi-player game? How does Diablo manage to knock all the players through a wall? Although it would seem kinda fun, I'm not sure if they would add something like that. I'm all for awesome cut-scenes though!

Wait. If skills can be assigned to your LMB how exactly do you manoeuvre your character and run around while casting skills? This will require you to constantly stop and cast.

Like in Diablo 2 I guess. Hold shift, or click on an enemy I guess..

posted a message on Which class will be the most popular and why?
Going from the poll, the barb has the most votes. I guess people like starting from a familiar standpoint and then moving from there. You know, so they can get a hang of the new mechanics while also knowing how some mechanics work for the character they are playing. I'd guess monk and witch doctor are the lowest in popularity. There are a lot of people on other forums calling the witch doctors attacks a circus act. Wizard will probably be the second most popular just because it is close and familiar to an older class (sorcs). Demon hunter will probably be like a middle child in this grouping.

Yeah, freaking iron maiden was like a killer for melee classes. They got rid of it, but now the game is kinda broken online so it was like a too late fix on the game. Although, I usually only play casters, I ended up making zealots and a WW barb and it was really annoying going through the Chaos Sanctuary! As long as they don't return that curse in another form, the melee classes can rejoice that they wont kill themselves with that wretched curse!

First I'm gonna go ahead and creating an awesome Witch Doctor and playing through the story with some friends, if I like him, I'm going to farm with this guy! I'm putting my money on the Witch Doctor all the way. Insects eating the flesh of these monsters and then burning the remains with bats! I think the Witch Doctor will be an awesome way to farm with so many skills that spread to attack new monsters. The faster you kill, the more drops you get, the smaller amount of time it takes to clear an area!

    Both.

You have two skills assigned to the mouse buttons. These can be "hot swapped" with a key for a different set of two.

There will also be a hotbar where skills can be put. These are activated with the keyboard.

Oh my god! I seriously never would have never thought of it working like that. I was just thinking about this for the last week researching the topic, without finding any information on it. Thanks so much for clarifying this.

posted a message on A question on the gameplay...
So, in Diablo 2 we used the left and right mouse buttons to cast our skills. My question is how does it work in Diablo 3? I couldn't find a real answer to this, and this is what has been bothering me the most out of all the stuff about this game. I really want to know how this works. Since we have 6 skills to work with, do we aim with the mouse and cast with the keyboard? Does anyone have an answer to this?

Indifference on my part. I didn't ever pvp much in D2. I mean, I totally tried, but my main focus was killing shit the entire time I played. Even this year, I still just mfed and crap. I tried making pvp characters, ww barb, trap sin, ww sin, rabies druid, etc etc. Didn't find it much fun. Especially since I mfed for most of the damn gear and it was still not good enough. I guess I enjoyed pvm much more since you could always kick the shit out of monsters with barely and decent gear =]

I think that might be a good idea. Evidently your current system is rather cumbersome to upgrade on. And at the same time you won't get the full benefits from that new GFX of yours since your computer, especially your CPU, will act as a bottleneck.

    Good luck with it!

Yeah, I guess I was slowly realizing that just building my own one with parts that I picked out would be better than just trying to replace parts on a 4 or 5 year old computer. The only reason I just wanted to upgrade was because I didn't know if 400-500 dollars would have been enough to build a new one. Luckily I learned I had some money stashed away for just this purpose and I can now just go ahead and figure out what I'll need. Again, thanks for all the support guys, after tinkering with this dinosaur I call a computer, I've given up and have changed my course of action!
