Sep 18, 201150000000000000000000 different possible builds but how many are different in core?Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
do you really think we will see that many different builds?
I think people will follow guides online, and we won't see more than 10 - 20 builds per class.
I love blizzard but i think this is just merketing strategy.
its like saying how many different rice bowls can you make with
beef, chiken and vegies
well you can make 999999999999999999999999 different rice bowls because you have:
beef with 500 rice or beef with 400 rice in the bowl

eBay does not care because they get a percentage. The more it sells for, the more they make.
Blizzard's flat fee makes it so they care more about a fair and useable system than the actual prices of things sold. Tracking IP's to stop this would be simple enough since everyone has to be logged in to begin with. They cam even go through and log IP's that bid on each sellers listings to see if there is always 1-2 IP's that keep bidding on their items. Given the anonymous feature, this would raise a flag of suspicion.
nono, you can use proxies, or have a dynamic IP, or go to friends houses...if someone wants to, he can trick blizzard.
thats actually hard to track.
Tracking people who do that, costs money
also, how can you tell if its not someone who really wants the item?
Aug 20, 2011Diablo II? easy?Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
who is this guy trollin? hell dificulty was fkin hard...
in DIII the bosses have finishing moves, so they can tear you apart and you can see all the guts of your champion flying around,
also they added a new difficulty level Inferno and i'm not talking about the new revolutionary skill runes...which has never been done before, Diablo III inovates in many many areas.
they removed skill points also, so now it's all about finding he right skill combination for the right moment.
and they added randomly generated quests and the lore is as great as before.
Diablo III is gonna be epic!

Apr 11, 2011I think they are planning many expansions until level 99.Posted in: News
and let's say they do just like wow, so from lvl 60 to 99 and adding 10 levels per expansion, that makes it : 4 possible expansions.
Why not? since diablo is more centered around solo mode( story mode) and grinding and since we reach lvl 60 in the end of the game, I think they might do the same thing as guild wars, by releasing alot of expansions, the equivalent of monthly fees, but you pay an expansion at full price every year.
could be nice.
and i know many people would pay full price for expansions released every 1 - 2 years. could also work for them, since the engine is already made, so it's all about making new content everytime and improving the engine.

There's a feature that allows you to teleport to your group when you join a game. And even if that gets removed by release the waypoints are on every dungeon level and in every area so you would never have to run all that much to get with your group/friend.
good to know.

popo_joe: They will add more frequent waypoints, thats how they will solve the removal of town portals. When it comes to rushing, it wont be as before obviously, but i'm sure there is a way to speed things up and help your friends out.
I'm sure everything will be fine.
but i'm wondering how it will work in this case :
you have a friend that is almost in the last level of a dungeon, you just came back from work, started the game, and wanna join your friend.
how will it work without portals? let's say you are in act 4 and your friend is in level 3 of a big dungeon of act 2, there are waypoints, but do you have to walk all the way to level 3 of the dungeon where your friend is? knowing that he have already cleared all the floors?do you restart everything with him?
portals seems very useful in coop games to me, faster way to join friends in action.
but like I said maybe blizz has thought of everything.

I dont know how it'll be without town portals, i'm sure blizzard have thought about everything.Quote from Conax
Cool artwork and okay screenshot, though its still the same dungeon which bothers me pretty much:P i want to see something else dsnt matter if its seen before just not this dungeon:P dont get me wrong i love this dungeon but its on every screenshot now of late.
Anyway, nice stuff.
popo_joe: Townportals sucked balls imo because they were so abused in so many ways. They just dont fit into the game. How come you want them to return in D3? I can say right away that they wont put them back, they have made it official that they wont.
Also, it was possible to find the tomb of talrasha without maphack by looking which sign in Arcane sanctuary was missing. Its called skills:P Also, you could learn the patterns in every single map to find Mephisto, Andy etc. You didnt need maphack.
they always do a great job.
Yeah, i know it required skill to find the paths etc, i'm sure without maphack I would have had learned all the paths, but never had to since ive always used it ( played the game from erelease to 2008 almost everyday.
The maphack was also usefull in Pvp, where you could see the projectiles coming at you etc.
and you could also see what other people were wearing. It was very nice :P.
Apr 9, 2011good news.Posted in: News
I just wish they put back town portals...i really loved the possibility to rush characters in D2, I actually remember using that tool that let you open two Diablo II's on the same screen, and rush your own character without having to ask a friend or someone on the chat.
I wish someone will figure a way to do it with D3, ( of course you need 2 CD keys but hell, i'd buy 3 versions of Diablo III if i'd have to )
But at least blizzard understands that after a while we get tired of redoing the same quests.
Wondering how they will support it? will there be area restricted by level?
Are they going to let lvl 1's go to hell?
also I remember that Diablo II maphack was very usefull in rushing, like for finding the tomb of talrasha, the entrance to the next level in dungeons etc.
I wish we could also have tools like these in D3, made life easier.
now if they allow rushing without town portals, no possibility to rush your own characters, and no map hack, i'm wondering if we could still call that "rushing"

if you think not having a life is fun then you must be retarded.
the purpose of games IS to have fun, NOT TO ERASE UR FUCKING SOCIAL LIFE.
at least in order to enjoy Diablo II u'd need MAPHACK. because walking a whokle fucking dungeon just to find the next floor stairs SUCKS balls.
May 21, 2009WTF are they thinking? they want to monitor games and ban anyone who uses cheats?Posted in: News
this is bullshit, i'm not gonna stay like a whole day in front of my PC just to make 10 meph runs.
maphack is the gratest thing on D2. i've been playin the game for so many years and we just asked them to remove DUPING! LET US HAVE FUN PLZ.
