posted a message on PC Gamer's Diablo III Cover Story
Overall, It was a good article.

I wasn't sure that the Barbarian in Diablo 3 is actually the same one from Diablo 2. Jay confirmed it in the article. Oh, and don't tell me you all knew about the loot system! I thought that it didn't change, but instead they tell me that there will be loot reservastion!! The times of jumping on dead bosses in hope for uniques are gone? :(

Also, I have never seen the Witch Doctor's screenshot while he usese Horrify on the first-level Ghouls :o ... Lastly, I REALLY hope that the game will be released in maximum 1 and a half years, otherwise it will be shipped while I'm in the army... dammit.

posted a message on Ureh Confirmed - New Artwork Update
I wonder how the wounds system is going to work (about the barbarian wounds in the screenshot... something we didn't have in the 20 mins videos). I mean, does it matter where you get hit, who you get hit by and for how long the marks remain...

posted a message on Diablo 3 Cinematic Teaser - Nonsense?
I was veiwing the cinematic teaser of Diablo 3 for a few times and eventually it came to me. what the woman in the video say (Who is, from my guess, Leah) doesn't make any sense at all.

"It has been said, that in the end of all things, we would find a new beginning. But as the shadow once again crawls across our world, and the stench of terror dreads on a bitter wind, the people pray for strength and guidance. They should pray for the mercy of a swift death. For I have seen what the darkness hides...

    ...I don't think it's safe here."

What the hell connects the first part ("It has been said...new beginning") to the second one ("But as the shadow...strength and guidance")??? It doesn't make any sense at all... at least to me.

I can see how the third part ("They should...darkness hides") is connected to the second one and it's actually a pretty cool statement because she actually consider the people "fools" in a way... thinking that they have chance of survival. She doesn't have hope at all. But the last part ("I don't think it's safe here") which has been said after heavy breaths of frear was really meaningless :S I didn't understand it at all.

In general, I think that the cinematic Blizzard did for StarCraft 2 for example was way better... it wasn't filled with bullshit and spoke right to the fans in terms that they understand. When you see the Diablo 3 Cinematic for the first time, you dont really listen to what she say... you listen to the familiar music style and watch the pretty pictures, and really, you dont have alot to listen too because she says alot of bullshit.

I don't know... maybe I'm not smart enough to understand that teaser, but I really don't think Blizzard did an awesome job with it... just my thought.

posted a message on Blizzard: Why Corpses Vanish
Blizzard, are you kidding me? Diablo 3, (the way it is now) graphically looked like it can be played on almost every computer nowadays... so in 1 year, no one on earth will have computer weak enough to not be able to maintain a screen filled with corpses (unless the graphics will improve).

As for too much movement of dead foes... I don't mind having a whole bunch of dead ghouls bouncing (as long as I make them bounce). Even if they move too much... it's always possible to reduce the effect of physics on dead enemies so they won't move too much (I personally won't care if they even lay still and won't move at all). Seriously... it will still be better than vanishing corpses... I know blizzard are trying to make the 3rd game less realistic than the past once and add style to it... but disappearing corpses? They took it WAYYY too far...

posted a message on Will you upgrade your computer for D3??
    Quote from "Alavard" »
Just bought a new comp a month ago, so doubtful I'd buy a
I'm certain that a quad-core machine with a single 8800 GTS 512 can handle D3 at pretty high settings (even if we don't know specifics), so the upgrades wouldn't be so much *for* diablo as for gaming in general.

We +/- have the same system :P and I'm sure its way more than enough to play Diablo 3. Unless they will make graphical imporvement which is unlikely. Although my current computer is 1 month old, I think that even my last computer which is 2 and half years old could handle it very well (and I don't even remember what it had :S)

posted a message on Auction house, account bank and anti grind/rush?
I don't see myself throwing items somewhere and rushing to get my other character in hope that the game won't close meanwhile in Diablo 3.

I don't see myself creating games like "O perf eni N 2 soj" and then waiti like an idiot for someone to ender my game in Diablo 3.

I don't see myself jumping to the end of the game, level 80 in one day in Diablo 3.

and I don't see myself throwing gold in a hide place before dueling so it won't drop from me, or better yet, not hiding the gold because its worth nothing anyway.

Blizzard promised us a brand new Battle.net and a brand new game and I'm sure they will learn from the mistakes of the past. In Blizzard I Trust.

posted a message on 1 Item per Slot or Inventory Tetris
    I liked the Tetris inventory.

    1) Because it's unique and you won't find that system in any other games except from Diablo 2 Clones (and maybe Resident Evil? I never played it tho)
    2) It's realistic, it limits you to keep only the important stuff and adds their size to the math.
    3) It actually makes you think! "Now where would I put this?"

    On the other hand...

    1) How do you carry items without a backpack? It's not realistic eiterway so who gives a damn.
    2) It makes the game flow, less time for struggles with inventory, more time to bash monsters.

I still prefer the tetris idea, although the new system has it's good points.

Something seem to be odd with the journal. The first days of the announcement the play button didn't work for me, but ~2 days later it did work. So I dunno... maybe even just reset the computer try later :S

posted a message on Hello Everyone
I always used to come to this site's homepage when I wanted to read news about Diablo 3, and now when it was finally announced along with the gameplay and cinematic video, I'm so excited I don't think I'll survive long enough to play D3 without going completely mad. I can't think of anything else but the game! So I thought maybe I'll fit your community now :) so I registered. Looking forward for sharing thoughts with you guys!
