Nope I just wanted to state my opinion on some of the most talked about aspects to show people that the graphics are not done. That some of the new aspects of D3 are huge inprovments instead of it being a wow clone.
I wasnt trying to make it a I hate you all post. I also didnt want to make it sound like a Flamed anyone which if it did was not my intention.
I thought the armor in the Gameplay trailer looked very real and much like D2...And who's to say they arent adding in those details...like I said the textures in the game are not their yet..I still say wait a few months before you guys start jumping the gun.
Plus I love huge shoulder armor..I dont like wow. I also love ornate(sp?) Helms
First I got to say I'm so happy they are making this game I have waited for this for years. Second I have to tell you all I have played both D1, and D2 for years. Now onto my Opinion.
The Art - First I really hate people wanting the art to change, not becuase it looks a certain way. But the fact that in the gameplay trailer you can tell they HAVE NOT added the textures yet or they removed them becuase they didnt want to show you all everything. I say wait a few months till they show you what the game actually looks like. Becuase right now the art looks half done.
The WD vs Necro - First off I hated the necro class so my opinion might not matter. I have to say that Necros are in D3 but they changed their name to WD tell you what when the game comes out and you still hate the WD I'll make a mod that changes the name of WD to Necro and I bet you'll all be happy since its the same class just done differently. 10 to 1 if they called the class Necro you would all be cheering instead of B$$ all over the place.
The Inventory - I think the new invo is great simply becuase I hated having to go back to town every 2mins becuase I had a huge item that took up almost half of my invo. At least this time I can have a little more room. I dont know about you guys but I really wanted more room in my invo in D2 and in D3 they gave us just that.
Respec??!! - First my best bet is D3 is not going with a skill based system becuase you they want you to have a mass array of skills that you can use instead of only being a barb that is either Whrilwind,fury, or crys and thats it. I personally think they'll go with a "talent" system which you can go into and change. I know a bunch of people are going to cry WoW in D3 whyyyyyyyyyyy. But even tho WoW sucks the way they did skills was pretty good. Unless you count character balance lol.
PvP - They have not said anything on this but I would like to see this - Clan options, a possible Arena (not like wow) and pls keep the duels they were awsome in D2. I must say this if they dont allow clans or arena (again not like wow pls) They must let me still have the other guys ear becuase it was just priceless.
Orbs? - I love this idea I know they heal the whole group which is nice and I doubt they drop so often that you dont need pots. I like to think of them as the fountains just done a little differently which is fine by me.
Armor - I've heard a lot of this going around that the armor is like wow. Well its not so what they gave you leg armor and shoulder armor..guess what you'd wear that in real life to (back in the way day). Heres a list of what true Knights wore
Plate mail
Helm,Chest,Shoulder,Forearm,hand,Top arm,thigh,leg,boots...All Tied together with leather and under all that was chainmail and then under that was padded leather
They are just making the game a little more real not a little more WoW
Thats about all I have to say about D3 Accept that I cant wait for this to come out and That my first char will be a Barb.
