i was doing some reading today, and one of the original coders for the diablo series said it was an awful idea to bring the barb back and they shoulds stuck with what blizzard north was trying todo and make all new classes not revamp old classes?
now im a fan of the Barb, but im a bigger fan of the diablo series what do you think do you think it is wise to bring back old classes or do you think they shoulda just made brand new classes for the game?
my other take on this is: Blizzard norths story line was probably very different then Blizzards story line, so thats why they brought the barb back?
Sad... I guess you missed out on what made Diablo I so enjoyable.
It was the constant sense of danger and fear of the unknown that made that game so revolutionary.

if you really looked at act 5 in D2 it wasnt as dark as the other acts? act 2 wasnt dark eaither? only 1 3 4 were dark and gloomy. Blizzard made the game if you dont like the art direction you could easily stop posting and find a new game? instead of making these QQ posts all over the place about how you dont like it.
there really wasnt much of a difference if you could or couldnt Tele it just took a lil longer... but they miss out on the off chance of the unique monsters along the way of dropping some fat loots.
Maybe the whole point is CONTRAST. If it always looked that way, how would you know the atmosphere was becoming more sinister and the room was darkening to summon the monster?

well good sir WOTLK comes out in October and SC2 comes out in december so ide say D3 1st quater next year because they said it will be released after Sc2 beacause of the new B.net layout. so... in all honestly i think it will come out 1st quarter next year.
I was just curious if you guys thought there was going to be an expansion pack that comes out right after the release. It seems to me like a good idea on their part for many reasons. For one, as soon as it is released there are going to be many complaints which could then be fixed by an expansion pack. Second and even more importantly, more money for the company. Also, as far as the classes are concerned, 5 wasn't enough in diablo 2 so why would 5 be enough in Diablo 3? In my opinion I have a feeling we will see an expansion in the near future after the release. What do you guys think?
the 5 Acts is based on the this dudes style of writing of only having 5 acts in a play. if there are only 4 acts in Diablo 3 there is going to be a expac thats how i could tell when D2 was released that they were going todo 5 acts and must be a expac for D2 because most things are based on that guys play writing sorry i dont know the guys name but he basically set the premiss that all things have 5 acts.
just found the guys info: Until the 18th century, most plays were divided into five acts. This format is known as the five act play, and was famously analyzed by Gustav Freytag. After the 18th century they were divided into 3 acts, but a good hunch is that there will be 5 acts and not 3 Because Diablo is based before the 18th century. 2nd thought htey could release 3 acts? beacause modern play writers have 3 acts now but there massive... so if D3 is released with only 3 acts that means there could be 2 expacs? but im pretty sure Daiblo 3 will never go over 5 acts.

um a race to stop these vents from happening? rofl... dude the whole prayer bit thingy and swift death is just to get you hyped for some bad ass demon ass kicking lol. not some chrono trigger meets diablo lol. heres my take on the cini, its just a prologue of what is to come in the game. the only way of stopping anything is to find some real Unique boots and shove em up diablo's bum or whoever the new baddy is gunna be? i hope its diablo but i mean you never know? probably is cus its Diablo 3? and in each diablo game diablo is there. so its a safe bet that you'll see diablo and some new beastys aswell. wouldn't mind seeing andariel come back lol demon chick running around with huge tatas lol

On the DL a gamestop employee said that the preorder process for D3 would be soon and that D3 should be out around February 09. Im sure this is false as i doubt D3's release date would be disclosed to gamestop but just in case it is i thought this rumor should be posted

Did I say there was anything wrong with trading items for items? No. In fact, I even said this would be prevalent in Diablo 3, even with the BoE and BoP systems.
