Everyone has been debating wether or not there are bags in the game to act as your inventory. Also, that if there will be potions in the game because of the health orbs the drop.
The answer to both of the questions is Yes there are bags and yes there are potions.
i yelled "OH DAMN!!" right the second the video started when i saw it was 3D and when all those things came crawling up the wall, i couldn't stop laughing in amusment, im to excited
Blizzard already have a procedure for Beta testing their games, which appears to serve them very well. Why would they change it?
Also, they won't deliberately choose D1 and D2 players. They will just make a random selection of people, thus getting a wide as possible audience, with varying hardware configurations and experience with the Diablo franchise (They need to test the game on Diablo Newbs too).
i didnt say it had to be preivious diablo players
i never said anything like that
i simply just said applications would be a good way to make their selection of the lucky few
so is there anyword on the Pk at all? i was told there was not going to be a place at all but i find that hard to believemy bad on putting this in the story line
if you mean PvP
then i think blizzard would have to be really ill minded not to include the option to test your strength against other players
there will most likely be some form of PvP
wheather its dueling or just making a PvP game and everyone can kill everyone
;261703'']I doubt it I would say there hardcore fan base would be mostly 20+ The people who played the originals when they came out not 5 years later. If there is a beta it should be closed and I doubt people under 18 would be able to participate because you would have to sign an NDA.
lame
it should be based purly on how much you could contribute
if you wanna kno im 13 years of age and i feel i have more ideas then most people of any age
you wouldnt have guessed i was 13 from the way i type now would u
i think i would easily be welcomed into the beta (if there was one) if age was no issue
A closed beta, forwarded to Battle.net subscribees. Open beta's tend to satisfy too many people their lust for a comming game, preventing them from buying and trying the game when it's actually out. Even a game sold to someone who tries it a day and does not like it is a sold game and 50 (of your currency) in their pocket. This is often the reason that demo's are nowadays released after a game's release also.
is there already a closed beta ??
cause if there is a wanna take part cause i feel i could contribute alot, no matter what im buying this game for the story
and i think even a closed beta would be nice, as long as the right people got invited for good reasons, including myself =D
It would be cool to test it yeah but theres always the thing that u will get spoiled in advance.. Its more fun to start at the release. Besides you won't have to help others so much about things when you haven't already played it
true but i did say "in a dungeon specificaly made for the beta"
so it wouldnt spoil anything but some of the games features and traits
the story would still stay completly out of our reach and its a BETA so nothing in it would be set in stone
Before you create your game/server you should set how many you wish to allo into the game. Min being 1 and Max being 12 (12 seems like it would be fun to do thing such as easter egg levels where mobs are thick)
but this is my opinion
they should do the same thing as in D2. more people in the game = +monster strength +drops and +exp

if you watch the video in full screen or a high res so its almost full screen
when the barbarian uses the ground stomp stun ability you can see it become grey and slowly the color comes back in a clockwise pattern = COOLDOWNS
only like 5 secs tho so no big worries yet !!

haha thats not true
you are legally allowed to play the game,
ESRB ratings are simply there to let you kno of the games content
there is no law saying the games CAN NOT be plaed by minors (that i kno of)
as far as im concerned if minors got a parental permission to participate in a beta or to play a game, there is no problem present

i feel i kno more then enough to make some small and big contributions
i have an idea of how blizzard can do this beta (and its a pretty darn good idea in my eyes)
Make everyone who wants to participate fill out an application, and only accept a certain amount of people
they should base there choices of who they select on by what they said on these applications
questions should be asked as,
"why do you think you should be given a beta key?"
"what do you think you could contribute?"
"and give us a small taste of some of the ideas you already have?"
things of that sort and just pick some of the better contenders

it looks so nice and would give the game a more realistic feel (which is important in RPG games)
as far as im concernd the way the game looks is very good, just needs to be polished as far as lighting effects, weather, and shadows
maybe even some enviromental things such as grass blowing in breezes and ripples in water

you mis-read
i meant to say "I" WOULD pay money to get into the beta
just to show everyone how badly i want this to happen
i kno US paying THEM for US to test THEIR game is just plain dumb
