Sorry about the violation. Closing thread.

EDIT: Do I need a moderator to close it?

I've been checking out this thread, and the MH looks pretty solid form what I've seen. You have to create a macro to one button reveal maps with a hotkey program, but other than that it seems undetectable.

I just want to know what I posted about. If it's against the rules I'll close the thread myself. If your against hacking, congratulations on your gaming morals, go look at yourself in the mirror and smile.

Do you know if it's detectable at all? If this is against diablofans ToS, let me know and I'll close it ASAP.

I agree with your class predictions with the exclusion of jav skills. The ragned aspect will be more of a WoW hunter where traps serve to assist your range attacks.

posted a message on Diablo III Thoughts From Ex-Blizzard Employee
Is it possible to be a Blizzard fanboy AND want the artistic direction changed? Seriously, I love Blizz to death, easily my favorite gaming corporation, but I can still form an opinion about their products in a constructive manner, whether they be postitive or negative.

posted a message on Diablo III Thoughts From Ex-Blizzard Employee
The first part of his blog doesn't shock me as much as the part that was left out-

Mike Huang: One of the reasons why the Barbarian return shocks me so much is that I always felt that the Barbarian character class was the most broken of the classes in Diablo II. The Barbarian's ability to Leap, for instance gave him advantage over other classes which had to walk around the barrier
This is where his argument turns from fair criticism to almost cynicism. If leap made the Barbarian the "most broken class" of Diablo 2, then what did teleport make the sorceress? He is just making a criticism for the sake of making criticism. It seems very unprofessional and almost passive aggressively spiteful.

I don't really care if they return or not. Blizzard knows what they want in D3 at this point, and so it is too late for any ex-devs to make a difference (whether or not that is good or bad is up to you).

ya, the original Kratos actually had blue war tatoos like the barb from D2. I'm mad that the new one doesn't have them, but ya, very GoW like. I made this topic b4 they admitted to it btw. ill link it in a sec

EDIT: scratch that, it was 7-2. apparently they had the interview b4 then

He makes some good points, but he dismisses some equally good ones. I think that this will be an issue when things are more finalized, and personally I just want to speak my opinion of a currency-based economy-

New Tristram has been in existence for several years, though the exact date of its founding is unclear.

    [...]

I will have to take his word for it, for I must admit that while I did explore the burnt remains of the "old" Tristram, I lacked the intestinal fortitude to do much more than take a few hesitating steps within that infamous cathedral of legend.

now this doesn't tell for sure that they are two separate areas, but it does mean that the cathedral is part of what is known as 'old Tristram' and the inn and the area where all the merchants settled is 'New Tristram'

I think that it will be sort of how the rogue encampment was to the rest of Act 1. So New Tristram will be the safe spot, and old Tristram will be the stomping grounds.

I was under the impression that "New Tristram" was built outside of "Old Tristram". In one of the dev panels I remember them saying that we would see old locations come back, such as "Old Tristram". This leads me to think they are two seperate areas.
