You are definitely right Xilinia. You would have to sacrifice some decent damage for survivability if you went the route I suggested. In regards to the original post and playstyle, just try to group up as many mobs as possible. With the halo of arlyse and ancient parthan defenders, the more you have around you, the tougher you are. Of course it all depends on rift RNG as well. I had a rift last night where the elites had fire chains, frozen, lightning, and desecrator. That is just death no matter what your toughness is lol.

Just my opinion, but I usually run with the shame of delsere belt and switch out magic weapon for spectral blades, the one that gives you the shield based on life. You can spam the spectral blades and tornadoes at the same time and have higher attack speed with spectral blades, which stacks. I go even further and switch out furnace for fragment of destiny for even faster attack speed on spectral blades. Still, I think just switching out the skill and belt though would give you a far higher survival rate.

I wouldn't worry about being banned if your playing on console. Blizzard can't ban you for the same reason they can't do anything about modders and hackers on console. Exp is shared, and more than likely, that 10k paragon player had a modded gem of ease that was leveled (hacked) up several hundred levels so the exp gained per kill is insane. The only advice I can give you as a fellow console player is to always stay out of public matches.

posted a message on BBV - Do different runes not stack anymore?

A friend and I both have LoN firebat builds. Just for fun we decided to run them in a greater rift together just to see where how far we could go. Since we were both running BBV, we decided to use the rain dance and slam dance runes together. However, when I use rain dance, my friend does not benefit from it and he drains mana and vice versa. I thought as long as you were not using the same run, both witch doctors would benefit from the different ones? Did I miss a change somewhere?

Oh, we are console players on the Xbox1. It also would be helpful if a couple PC players could test it as well? Maybe a console glitch if BBV is still supposed to work that way? Thanks everyone.

posted a message on Rogar's huge stone and molten wildebeest's gizzard synergy
Hello everyone, I searched the forums for this, but could not find anything so I wanted to put it out there with my own testing....and these two items are fantastic together.

I tested with my Zdps WD. I'm rounding numbers down to make it easier. I managed to get the gem up to lvl 28 which gives you 38k life per second. My WD was at 13k before the gem so with it I was at 51k lps with it. After testing and letting some trashmobs wail on me to about 10% health or maybe a bit less, I checked my lps, and it was at 99k lps! This was with a rogar's huge stone that gave me 98% increased lps depending on how low my life was. The mobs could get me down to about 10% and then my life would just fly back up to full.

So just in case if anyone was wondering if both work together, they do. Feel free to test yourself and let me know you outcomes.
