I can't wait to see the full skill trees of the Witch Doctor and the Monk.... not to mention updated versions of Wizard and Barbarian (Tier 5 Skills).

Man... this character makes me want to be able to run two characters at the same time. I really want to play the Barbarian. *Dualwields Lightning axes* Yet I want to play the Monk... *Activates Seven Sided Strike on one boss* *huge explosion*

Ugh... now that I think about it, I want to play the Wizard too.

Dammit.

It IS rated M. I dont know "what you've seen", but you didn't see it clearly.

Notice a trend? b&g + violence = M

Not to mention the demonic suggestions and hellish theme of diablo 3, and the fact that all previous diablo games were rated M.

Purple cap? What about a pink dress for the barbarian and fluo green boots for the witch doctor while we're at it? :confused:

That could be starter gear. By end game, the gear could be much cooler and demonic. We don't know. No ones knows. .....Heck, there could even be a Dye system. Could turn that spikey purple helmet into a spikey black helmet.

-If anyone hasn't noticed this yet, they're trying to combine classes. Now, the barbarian, from what i've seen (albeit isn't alot) has nto changed. Then again, i've seen 10 mintes of footage and 5 skills. :cool:

-Now the witch doctor was interesting. They seem to have combined the Sorceress and Necro together. Again, we've only seen 5 skills, but he does use a fire bomb and does have curses, and can raise minions.

-Now my thoughts on the other 3 characters are scattered. i wonder what the creative minds at blizzard will come up with next? Maybe a paladin/angel, or an amazon/assassin. no one knows, we'll just have to wait.

This is probably the worst thread i've ever seen on any diablo 3 forums on any website ever.

You can't judge a game based off of 20 minutes of demo video, i'm sorry, it's just not possible. No solid critiques can be given at this point because WE HAVE NOTHING TO CRITIQUE. Simple as that.

Meh it can't be too far off. They wouldn't announce here at the end of june, 2008 and release it in june, 2010. I'm expecting it before the holiday seasons, when everyone buys stuff for eachother. All big companies normally release new products around that time to induce massive sales flow. I know if I was blizzard i'd work on it non-stop and have it released before Dec. 12th, so that everyone can go buy it for Christmas or w/e and make me lots o' money.

This was a demo... they put this together as fats as possible to show you features of Diablo III, they probably could've cared less about matching the pictures up. They had better things to do, such as making Diablo III. Once the game comes out and is actually TANGIBLE and these errors (if they are errors) still exist, then we can speculate.

It will be M. Even looking at the demo videos, its obviously rated M. Blood spewing, entrails/gore, violence, demonic suggestions = M rating, just like the previous 3 diablo games.

Well guys, thru the thick and thin, the non-believers and the believers, diablo 3 is here. And thru this confusion we havn't set aside time to thank blizzard for doing this. I knew blizz cared.

Well, here goes :

Ok. To all of those people out there who think D3 is WoW-ish based on the 20 minutes of footage you've seen from a demo put together by the devs, you're wrong. It could be that those areas don't even exist and were precisely put together for the demo and nothing else. After all, they did rig everything to show you some of d3's features (chest drops, etc.)

And if you really think about it, Diablo 2 was just the same. Take a look at where you start out. The Rouge Encampment is a green feild with rain and lots of light. As you progress thruout the storyline, however, it gets dark, ending up in skull-lined hellish lava pits, etc. :thumbsup:

Plus, you can count on D3's storyline to be much broader. Hell, for all we know right now, you could start out in a clean, pretty world and have it taken over. I don't know, no one does. So please, don't make assumptions off of a game play demo.
