Quote fromr u kidden me?? hes like 60 at most. (in d2 LOL, he had white hair boney as hell) 20 years later is diablo 3. But they said he might come in the expansion. And for all we know the expansion might be another 5 years later ( in the story). So therefore he will be 85 when he is introduced in the expansion. LOL
Have you read the books? There was a necromancers over 100 years old and he was really powerful.

The mod was awesome. It was really hard though(I play singleplayer), I struggled all the way to Mephisto, then he was way too powerful and annihalated me. I tried repeatedly, didn't just give up or anything but I could never beat him. My question is if the bosses are a little less powerfull now or not? I understand the mod is suggested for multiplayer but I would rather play single player on any mod or in normal D2.
If the mod is still just as difficlult can someone that has gotten farther than me please tell me some strategies to get farther? My prefered characters are melee characters. Namely the Barbarian as favorite and I also like Paladins and Druids also. If the mod is more payable I will definitely play it again.
Thanks for making the Mod (even though I only played 3 acts so far it is a great mod)
EDIT: Just checked out the mod forums, found that what I am looking for was fixed in 1.2g solo edition. Is the download link correct? It isn't labeled 1.2g its just labeled 1.2. Could just be the label, just wondering. Thanks for making those changes.

Really? If so, oh well. That means even more new classes to play with. I remember him stating that expansions would be the best place to bring back old characters, not just the necromancer, but I could be wrong. If you could provide a link to the article he talked about this in it may help others out. It's all just useless speculation anyway, I should be doing something productive not browsing D3 forums.

In regards to similarities between the necromancer and Witchdoctor: I would rather play a new class with similar skills to an old class than, an old class with skills that are almost exactly the same skills as before (and if the Necro was nearly perfect I'm sure they would not want to try to change the skills too much). We have not seen all of the witchdoctors skills they may not be too similar to the Necromancers, but Necromancers were great, especially after reading the Diablo books. (But I have always enjoyed a melee character over summoners/casters, so I am not as worried as some may be).
All of the remaining classes may not be out for good, a few may return in an expansion if they are not too similar to the classes included in the initial release.
I am just speculating based on the information we have been given so far.
I can't wait for Blizzcon when we get a substantial amount of new information including a new class.

Overall I hope most of the skills will be new as well as the classes. Blizzard has said that with the initial release of D3 the Barbarian will be the only returning character and that expansions would be the best place for old characters to return(Jay Wilson interview). So I think Blizzard is going to make many new skills, they are making a new game not a revamped version of D2. Of course there will be similarities to old skills, but I hope they won't be too similar.
As for skills I don't want to see, I'm not sure because I don't know what the remaining 3 classes are. But I just hope a larger part of the skills will be useful, instead of how in D2 there were many unused skills or skills only used for synergies. I didn't like how if you made a spearazon and added to the level 24 skill(the one that hits all adjacent enemies) the mana cost would be too high and the skill sucked anyway. (I remember making a spearazon and waiting till I would be a high enough level to use the skill then it was slow and useless. The spearazon in general seemed underpowered) Maybe I am wrong about the skill, maybe it was good and I had to just keep adding to it, but I don't know. In D2 you usually had to pick certain builds in order to later survive in Hell. I hope in D3 you are able to use many more skills throughout all difficulties and that you aren't stuck in a few builds per character. (with fighting being more strategic and involving more positional strategy it seems the skills used will vary more).
I may have not explored builds as thoroughly as some people have, and the only runeword I ever used was Ral-Ort-Tal. So my opinions may vary from others. But I do believe a build should be independent of your equipment, it can enhance that build, but the build should not depend on certain equipment.
Sorry if this was too long or off topic.

Yeah, sorry I didn't read the whole thread. (81 pages), but I was more going by the "Where is God in Diablo Fans thread" responses. (another religion related thread)
Cool, good point, I'll keep it in mind.

How much time and effort did you put into helping the person who asked the question, you spent way more time criticizing the people who actually tried to help than actually being a help. It is not his job to go onto forums and answer questions as specifically and thoroughly as possible right away, especially when he is already worn out.
