Quote fromLOL - I like your style
I honestly think one year Blizzard should do it.
Announce a new game, make sure its something people have really wanting the company to do.
Do it on April 1st.
Everyone will think your just trolling them.
It would seriously launch the hype level through the roof, resulting in large profits when the game is released.
Then you could follow through and actually make the game worth the hype, and profit more.

Considering Auras have been in every Blizzard game since Diablo 2. I'm sure they will be to some extent.
Auras have proven to be great multiplayer buff methods, that provide easy ways to benefit the party.
Although I do hope they aren't so powerful in D3.
In D2, paladin aura stacking was pretty silly.

Why does everyone always resort to insulting people when they disagree with them??

We don't know anything about how stats, or item effects at this stage of development. Blizzard has yet to reveal more information on those subjects.
If your wanting something that uses cooldowns. Its not gonna work.
Diablo is not that style of game. Its not slow, its fast.
Diablo 1, best weapon in the game, Kings Sword Of Haste...high damage, extremely fast. Hotkets for quick spell swapping.
Diablo 2, you want as much increased attack speed as you can get. Faster hits, means more damage dealt, and more life stolen. Added even more hotkeys for spell swapping
Diablo 3 so far has shown to follow a similar pattern of the faster you can think, the faster you can use all your skills, the better you will do. Now adding an entire action bar in addition to having two presets of left click + right click.
Spells/Abilities with long cooldowns just don't work. They would have to be extremely powerful, which would but unbalanced.

Your asking for a class with no magical presence around it in anyway, from a game world thats enshrouded in magic.
The seems a little redundant to me.
What do you want to play, a farmer with a pitch fork?
Anyway, the closest thing you will get to that is the Barbarian, but even they have a little mysticism about them(I mean do you really think its JUST physical prowess that allows them to leap that bloody high?)
Anyway, the Barbarian in D3 doesn't use mana, if you notice while playing the barb, the players "mana pool" is a light greenish-blue, but is straight blue on the witch doctor. Further examination of the video when he highlights over a few skills reveals that the Barbarian uses a Stamina pool instead of mana.

There was an thread on here before, about how evil Diablo must be....the poster had a ex-script from the Sin War books, where Diablo is talking to Inarius.
In it, it mentions how Inarius could never distinguish what Diablo looked like, because he was either a large blob of shadow, or he was changing his shape based on what Inarius fears, as he turned into Lillith, Tyrael....etc.....
From that we can gather that Diablo has the ability to shapeshift, and judging by his appearance change between Diablo 1 & 2, we can determine that his form is also based on how strong he was(which was at the time determined by his host).
So now that Diablo has clearly been reborn back in hell, he is back to full power, thus his form has changed a little.
Besides, I've said this from the beginning.
Making a Diablo game without Diablo is like committing high treason in the gaming world.

Not that I disagree with your opinions...but let me get this straight....
You actually have trouble killing groups of Carver?

I'm just glad we finally got an official answer, so lets all move on, and focus on more important things.
Like classes, spells, monsters, the storyline, and actual game play.

That might not be entirely true though. Yes the Worldstone is gone, and we have reason to believe that the barrier between heaven, hell, and sanctuary is no more...but why has nothing happened for 20 years??
Why didn't the forces of Hell spill into Sanctuary almost the instant the Stone was destroyed??? For whatever reason, the forces of either side still cannot just walk right into Sanctuary.
Why wait 20 years?? Hell would have relished in the idea of slaughtering all of mankiind, and they have had a 20 year long chance to do so, and have not done so.
Its because of this that I think that The Three have plotted everything so far, from their own exile, to even being purposely defeated after being freed from their imprisonment. The only question that remains, is what they plan to do next? Why wait so long? And why I think they are far, far more cunning & powerful than even Heaven may be able to see.

Just because Andariel & Duriel allied themselves with them again, doesn't mean Belial & Azmodon have. They still rule hell, and I highly doubt they would just give that up all of a sudden, especially after having that civil war with each other.

Just for reference, it is mentioned that Mephisto is the oldest of the Three, but that does not make him the leader, if you actually listen to the books you can read in Diablo 1, it mentions how Diablo is the leader of The Three. By saying oldest, I would imagine that means he was the first to come from the abyss. But I don't think that makes him the Strongest.
Diablo was also the last of The Three to be captured, and was also the only one to actually be guarded. Mephisto was locked away in the tower, and was left vacant until the Zakarum came about, and Baal was buried in a tomb.
Diablo was buried, deep, DEEP within the earth, and then the Horadrim built a monastery over the site, from which they could safeguard the Soul Stone. This had to have been done for a reason. He was also the one that went back into Hell in D2 to re-acquire The Three's position as "Rulers".
His unstoppable will, and desire for retribution for they're exile, & imprisonment allowed Diablo to free himself, so he could then free his Brothers.
Mephisto speaks of "At long last we stand reunited!" in D2, as if he is happy to be with his brothers again.
And the ever memorable quote of Baal, "My brother's shall not have died in vain!".
Thats kind of proof to me that there is definitely some kind of "brotherly love" among The Three.

They have stated that New Tristram is mostly merchant shacks, someone had to start it, and Gheed sounds like the perfect candidate to me.

Good lord he's right!

And your gonna tell me that through Magic Charsi can't perform the same feats as the Male??
Come on, its obviously through magic that Cain is even alive....who's to say it hasn't kept her well preserved.

Not entirely true, the Barbarians are tribes of people descended from the Nephalem. Yes, all humans in Sanctuary are descendants, but look at how the Barbarians are....
They are all descendants of the Ancients themselves, who are Nephalem, thats why they considered the Arreat Summit such a holy place. Its the burial place, and guardian site of everything they're people represent.
If you read the skill description for the Barb in the D2 manual, almost everything they are capable of doing, is totally not cable by ANY of race of people in Sanctuary. Take Warcry for example, with a single word uttered from his mouth, a barbarian is capable of actually hurting people and staggering even demons, theres no magical fire, ice, or lightning involved, just the word itself. They can leap distances not even almost possible for a normal human.
Barbarians are not simply human. They are far, far more than that.
Not to mention that despite his age, the male barbarian still seems to possess immense amounts of strength, his size has not dwindled at all either. The only true difference between him now, and before, is that he has grown a beard, and has gray hair. They clearly age quite well, and maintain most, if not all they're energy from they're war torn youth.
I'm sure its possible that Charsi, carrying only Barbarian blood, is quite capable of doing many of the feats the Male can do. Not to mention, you don't spend years of crafting weapons & armor without having some know how as to how to use it.
Plus its been 20 years, who's to say that Charsi didn't meet up with the old Hero and he's spent some time training her in the ways of her ancient people. It doesn't take a lifetime to learn how to swing a sword in both hands, or learn to tap into the power carried in her blood, simply because she is a direct descendant of a the Nephalem.
I'm not saying that it HAS to be her, but I am saying that it is certainly possible.

Plus, we have seen the male barb, and he doesn't really look similar to the D2 one at all, even though it has been stated he is the same guy. Hell, I'll be honest, the only real trigger for me that its the same guy, is the fact that he is older, and has gray hair.
Anyway, they already said that they want each character/class to have their own story, that gets told a little bit through playing the games storyline.....Charsi would be a good candidate imo.
