and just because someone likes the new direction doesn't mean theyre a WoW fanboy, for all you know they could be a hardcore diablo fan and they just enjoy what they see, ive played the game for 8 years in total since diablo I, and i like how it looks
I'll point out one game they made a HUGE mistake on that has sold millions...
WoW.
The game has no replay value. It is a long arduous grind with no real sense of accomplishment. It's a carebears/casual players paradise. An amusement park where everyone is tall enough to ride all the rides.
The Art Design for WoW is spot on though. It follows WCIII well and hey...it's kid friendly and carebear friendly and that's who WoW is marketed toward.
DIII Art Design does not follow D1 or D2. It follows WCIII....which makes no damn sense.
We live in America and last time I checked I can petition the Lord first before ever knowing if he's real or not.
Your argument that we should wait till another video is released is weak. Why wait, when we don't know how long that could be? Why not start now and stop this art design from continuing in the following acts and before they get too far along to turn around and change it?

Seriously though, Blizzard have barely put a foot wrong so far and have an immaculate track record in recent times. These guys know what they're doing, moreso than any of us on this forum. Petitions in this manner are incredibly childish, especially when those supporting the petition also hate 'kiddies'.

By dark/gothic, people are not referring to the LIGHTING in the game. They are referring to the ART DESIGN.
Maybe if you spent half as much time reading and comprehending than posting ignorant shit, you might actually be able to make some sort of defense for your weak argument.
oh well sorry for pointing that wrong, but artistic direction can also be the lighting in the game, the use of colors here is to convey mood which some people obviously aren't getting because they complain that it's too bright and that the artistic design is taking the wrong turn

The petition is not stupid... all you anti-petition guys are all the same, you come here with no real arguments and manipulate all we have fought for. If you are one of the guys that wants a new game go play somethingelse, i want some form of Diablo, not World of Diablo! or Diablocraft...(and there i go reapeating miself just so people hear me^_^)
And i saw all the Videos with the Blizz producers that work on Diablo 3 and they didn't really seem to know what they were talking about... that's my opinion
