That would suck big time if the witch-doctor's pets are gonna lag the game just like necros skeletons did back in D2.

I never felt that lag. Then again, I was the one with the skeletons.

I honestly think we won't be seeing the Paladin this time around. At first, I was sure we would, but after hearing Blizzard talk some and the direction D3 is taking.. no, no Paladin.

I agree. I'm not saying that there WON'T be a paladin, but I think that blizzard is minimizing tanking in more strategic gameplay. Thats great in my opinion. I have to say I more than satisfied with what they have said about the gameplay.

no offense, but it seems kind of pointless. If you find something that you would want to give to a friend, leave the game, join a game with him, give it to him, leave, and join your old game in less than 15 minutes(25 at most).

Good points. It would be good for the economy, adding a new level of value to gold in general, which we can probably all agree would be needed.

I can see it now, people saving up for respecs...not a bad idea at all.

Honestly, NPC services are the best thing for trade in the game. As long as there is something worthwhile to spend your money on in diablo III, you in theory should be able to trade anything for gold. Respecs wouldn't be enough, but expanding your stash size, adding weapon sockets, ect. You could charge for anything.

If it were a quest reward it wouldn't be as rare as it should. It also should be untradable lol.

And it would also be a shitty reward, Considering how many quests in diablo II gave you skill points.

I still say charging gold would be the best implementation. Any useful service that costs gold is good for the economy.

But yeah, ranged attacks also seem to be a nice addition to the barbarian.

He had a ranged attack of sorts before, leap attack. Either way, without potions, you are going to see more skills with all of the classes that deal with moving around.

For some odd reason I keep thinking that the WD is going to sound like Barry White.

I was thinking more like D'Angelo or Al Green. But Yes, he's defiantly a soul singer.

Keep looking for Diablo 3. I already got mine.

Yeah man. I had to drive to Alpha IL (population 700), and drop $250 to buy it off of this guy that runs the bowling ally. He's cool though.

Okay. I'm guessing you don't understand basic economics. That's fine, part of the learning curve of life.

:offtopic: I would that it most definitely is not part of the learning curve of life. I would go as far to say that 95% of Americans don't understand basic principles of economics.

Which Diablo did not have an expansion? Trick question I know.

Diablo 1 for PSX did not have an expansion.

    ???

Everything you just stated (minus the similar skills) is exactly what I stated.

The Witchdoctor is not replacing the Necro, and the Necro will probably return in the expansion.

Discussion is over. Well, until Blizzard releases more info or does an interview again. :)

In the Mtv video interview, he implies(or you could deduce) that they have more working playable character classes than would be released with the game. Suggesting that they would cut some in favor of balance.

posted a message on Please Blizzard, Remove those MUST Skills, 1pt. Wonders and Useless Skills!!!
    Quote from "Frostwake" »
The only thing I agree with here is the essential skills such as Battle Orders. Its true, having a skill than doubles the whole party's life is just untouchable, everyone will always spend 20 points in it. It either needs to be removed, or changed. Say, if instead of getting 100% life you only got 35%, it would make you wonder "Hmmm is 35% more life worth the loss of power?" And thats what makes skills fun! If everything is balanced nicely, it just depends on what kind of player you are, which in turn makes up for much more varied gameplay

This is why they are putting those different limits on the skills. Some skills on need one point, some some skills would just be too powerful if you could level them up all of the way.

We won't visit all of them. There will probably an an expansion or two where we would get to see a few more.
