Did you notice the difference between the colours of the mana bars?
Don't know if anybody mentioned yet.

It also seems, that the barb requires stamina for at least a couple of his spells, as you can see in screenshots.
Maybe the meele classes don't use mana but stamina?
    Just a thought..

I didn't notice this at all, good eye. Your theory may be correct, because the barbarian obviously doesn't use mana, so it could very well be stamina.

But why are they using such rich blues, and reds for the skills and equipment? The ice coming from the barbs axe/sword in the video was far too bright and cartoonish. That is my only problem with the graphics.

I don't think we should go that far. I just think we need to include some powerful sets.

    Such as "Duriels Passageway"

That could be a set. I just think they should be really good, considering you have to collect EVERY piece.

Set items that are actually useful to high levels would be a nice feature.

I love the idea of having an account stash. This let's you hold on to mass items without the cluttering of mules, and of course, now you can x-fer by yourself without the help of anybody else. Great idea.

i saw dont re-do shit and release it as fast as you can.

We have waited this long, so I think we should be patient to ensure that everything is just perfect.

I am upset with certain choices they are making, but a ton of people have complained about the graphics. I am sure they will do something to solve this problem.

posted a message on Rating of D3 so far?
When I first viewed the video, I was quick to misjudge it, and label it as "Bad." Now that I look at the game, I am fairly satisfied as to what is yet to come. My only problems thus far are the sounds and visuals of the game, but hopefully those will be altered for the better.

    First impression: 1/5
    Current impression: 3/5

    posted a message on D3 Suggestions ~
When I submitted my ideas, it got locked. Apparently it's illegal to post about your creativity. I better keep my ideas locked up for a more mature staff.

My only main suggestion for the eventual development of Diablo, is that I hope runes and charms return. I hope that the visuals get darker, and the sounds get eerier.

posted a message on My ideas *LONG AND A MUST READ*
Here are just some ideas that I have formed for Diablo 3. THIS MAY MAKE YOUR HEAD HURT!

    The Basics:
*Inventory - Each character receives the same amount of space, thus everybody can have their fair share at the items. This will not be a weight based system, so it doesn't matter on your strength or level, your inventory always remains the same. The system would work like this; each item would take up one block (or cube). However, each item, depending on size, has a different mass to it. This means that an axe could take up to let's say, three cubes (but it would still remain in that same one cube, if you know what I am saying). No more playing Tetris with your items. This will be a much more organized way to view your inventory.

*Stash - The stash in this game will be very different from Diablo 2. You start off with a normal stash, that resembles your inventory. As you level, your stash size increases. This makes sense, since the higher the level you are, the more items you will be finding. Every stash upgrade will occur every 33 levels (Assuming the maximum level is 99).
    1-33: Stash size = 30 cubes
    33-66: Stash size = 60 cubes
    66-99: Stash size = 100 cubes
Please read the "Inventory" idea above if you are unsure as to what a cube represents.

*Mercenaries - Mercenaries in this game will be much more complex. You can choose a variety of customizable mercenaries. You can choose your mercenaries name, as well as the way he/she attacks. Each mercenary class will have a set of skills that you can choose to level up, so it's almost like your raising a second character. In this version of Diablo, you may fully equip him, including boots, gloves, and sash.

*Charms - Charms will be making a return, and they will follow the same pattern as they did in Diablo 2. New charms will be added, including ones actually give you more inventory space.

*Runes - Runes will be making a return, and they will follow the same pattern as they did in Diablo 2. However, new runes will obviously be implemented.

*Quests - Quests in this game will follow a different role. Instead of having a designated 6 per act (Roughly), this will be much more of a "Free roam" approach. Basically, you have to search for the quest. That being said, each class will have a few "Class specific" quests, thus giving each character class a unique experience. These "Class specific" quests will also give the player a chance to avoid parties, and test out new skills on his own.

    Equipment:
*Jewelry - Jewelry in this game will also be class specific depending on the item. Rings (2), and amulets will remain in the game as part of your overall equipment.

*Armor - Armor in this game will be much more defined, and unique. Certain classes will have private armor that only they can use. This includes every piece of armor; chest, boots, sash, gloves, helmet, and shield.

*Weapons - Weapons will take a different form in this game. You can actually see the lightning, ice, fire, and poison that are imbued within them, instead of having it just change color like in previous installments.

    Classes:
*Barbarian - A class of brute force. They rely on swords, axes, polearms, spears, and maces to help do their dirty bidding. They are mainly a melee class, but have a few ranged moves.

*Witchdoctor - The Witchdoctor uses various summons to help fight their battles, this includes wild swarms of Locus, as well as walls of Zombies. They can also spread diseases, and cast a few spells of their own to do direct damage to enemy forces.

*Avenger - The Avenger is much like a Paladin (Diablo 2). They use holy skills, as well as auras to help fight for them. Their primary weapon of attack includes scepters and swords, but they also rely heavily on magic. In this installment, they can even heal!

*Mage - Mages are wise, and very intelligent. They rely on the elements, including; fire, ice, lightning, and poison. They do not have great defense, which is why them mainly rely on their ranged skills, and their occasional summons...

*Rogue - Rogues are warriors of the shadows. They use multiple skills to their disposal, including flight! They use weapons such as; bows, daggers, and clubs. They are also known to shape shift and "Hide in the shadows," so you better watch out when this race is around!

    Sense appeal:
*Coloring - The overall coloring of the current maps are too bright, in the opinion of me, and many others. Here is an image of what it SHOULD look like *Please note I do not take any credit for making the images, I did not recolor them*

*Music - Bring back the eerie soundtracks from the first installment (Diablo). Eerie soundtracks will get players more into the game, and will enable them to feel a sense of "Darkness" during their game play experience.

    Skills:
*Skill Tree - The beautiful and original skill tree from Diablo 2 will make it's appearance into the heart of Diablo 3! Maximum skill level = 20; 1 skill per level.

*Attributes - The beautiful and original attribute system from Diablo 2 will make it's appearance into the heart of Diablo 3! 5 stat points per level.

*Respecs - You can achieve these through quests, however, you can only receive a maximum of 3 of these throughout your entire character experience.

As you can see, I have outlined many aspects of the game, and I have also included many ideas of mine. Please tell me how you feel on what I have written in the paragraphs above. I thank all who have fully read this. I want to email this to Blizzard, but I wrote it quickly so I need to enhance on the ideas, as well as the grammar.

Most of the skills that they showed were in Diablo 2

Locus? Don't they only eat green things?

Wall of Zombies? That's a creative one.

    Firebomb: Moltov anyone?

posted a message on Just a thought of mine : The complaining
I agree with some things you said, but that's exactly it, they are not trying to make it like D2, which worries me. If they updated skills, but kept the game play virtually the same I would enjoy that more than what I have seen in the lone video.

I am jumping to conclusions, but I want this to be a pleasant experience for all Diablo gamers.

The potion system totally needs some kind of change. The inventory is just broken. Jigsaw puzzles take too much time, so do town portals, keys, and charms are rigged.

You may love these aspects. I hate them. So don't harp on Blizz please.

I'm just getting very worried. I don't want to be similar to literally every other play in terms of skills. I don't want to have to look at those graphics constantly, and I am not sure if Blizzard will make the right choices.
