I'll have me a Bitter Black Ale! Man... it has been a long time since I've been here... I'm really hoping to get more active again. What's new to this place? Has D3 got any better (bought it when it first came out and was pretty disappointed), is it worth trying again?

So... has anyone ever set up Xlink Kai for XBMC? If so, could someone please help me get mine set up because I'm having some major issues! I can go into details if someone wants to lend a hand. Thanks for anyone who offers to help!

You are viewing Truth completely wrong, when you say,
Truth is independent of personal beliefs, as you have well shown. Otherwise, should we say that before Newton gravity didn’t exist? Truth is not subjective, beliefs are.Truth is: transcultural (i.e. 2+2=4); unchanging even though our beliefs about Truth change (i.e. When we began to believe the world was round instead of flat, the truth about the earth didn’t change, only our belief about the earth changed); and not affected by the attitude of the one professing it.

So then "right" and "wrong" are subjective to each person, rather than abiding by some absolute standard. And the only things that makes someone bad is if they are violent (except in self-defense)?
Would you agree that Truth is absolute? Regardless of our beliefs, biases, knowledge - Truth stands as a separate entity which is transcultural (such as 2 + 2 = 4) and unchanging. Would you agree?

There are many arguments I could use to elaborate but I think an argument from morality is a great foundation.
Why is something good or right compared to bad or wrong? What makes something good or right compared to bad or wrong?
Before I give my explanation, I would like to hear some explanations from you guys.

Thanks for any suggestions guys!

Having said that other genres of music are very versatile, maybe not as much as rock, but also have different feelings and meanings associated with them such as funk and psychedelic, although even these contain elements of rock, a lot of the time, even these genres are laced with rock elements and phrasing patterns.
I mean 'rock' in the general since could actually incorporate funk and psychedelic as, well, funk-rock and psychedelic-rock (maybe even progressive rock could be classified a little hand in hand with psychedelic-rock).
When I write or play music or even just listen to music I set different feelings with different genres, probably as most people...
Rock is just rockin and gets me in a good pumped up type of mood
Psychedelic, pretty easy, mellow chill music
And funk, just anytime music really
I can't stop rambling!!! All music is anytime music what am I saying??? But having said that, that's why I love the Chili Peppers and John Frusciante's solo albums, because they mix so many genres I love together.

And yes, there is evidence in favor of men walking with dinosaurs. Look at the Utah cave art. Also the Cambodia dinosaur engraving. And I forget the other artwork on a a King's tomb where there are obvious known animals such as birds, deer, etc.. and then a very obvious depiction of dinosaurs.
Also, the preservation of dinosaur flesh being found, that isn't completely fossilized, that still has elasticity, that still has blood cells is becoming more frequent and the dates labeled to these specimens in the 70 million range for example are becoming less believable.
Anyways, my point with this was to show that within science there are disagreements just as there is in religion, and obviously, in the case of history, only one set path has been fulfilled and is correct in terms of what actually happened in history, and with Christianity there is only one right way to follow God, the way he wanted to be followed according to the Bible.
Basing on facts you say? Riiiiight.

Actually you did have a say in Jesus' death since he died for your sins. Jesus wouldn't have had to had died for humanity if mankind would have never sinned out of their own free will. So Jesus died for you, you had a say in it, you just refuse to think that your sin should be connected to his death.
DOn't know much about Catholicism and am not going to argue in it's favor because they hare hypocritical and wrong in their doctrines. And God and Satan never made a bet, lol that's an absurd thing to say. When Jesus was tempted he refuted Satan with doctrine and by saying you don't tempt God (because he was God in the flesh). This bet things... seriously, why do you make up stuff that you don't even know is true then role with it?

So ur a metal-head then? I'm just recently getting into metal in a big way, but could never limit myself to just one genre of listening and/or playing i feel

Yes, obligation. If God exists (the christian God) then you have an obligation. Because if God exists, then you're a sinner who had someone die for your sins. You have an obligation to follow God and not reject his son he gave for you.
Dude. If you go kill someone who's fault is that? God's? Yeah-no. You made the choice. If I give you a knife and you kill my mom, is it my fault my mom died?

Well, if he created you then you have all the obligation to follow him. He the big boss, El presidente. He'll let you do whatever you want, but, if after knowing what he wants and expects from you and you don't do it, it's your own fault you wind up burning.
