I'm also guessing from the slide, and previous screen someone linked on these forums earlier this week, that we're down to just 4 types of gems? Well they only showed 3 runes so either they are just picking some things to show all of or they cut back our customization alot.
True. The thing is, I severely doubt they'd cut the runes down to 3, it's all about not putting to much on the screen. The gems however, as said, would be logical.
The previous screens I mentioned, did show ruby adding spelldmg when socked in a weapon. Likewise the sapphire added magic find in helmets, and amethyst added attacks per second in wep and move speed in helm.
I do agree we don't need too many gem types.

My question is about what happens to weapon effects when you transmog? If I transmog a weapon that has fire effects do they stay on the new weapon? If I transmog a legendary into another legendary what happens there? If I transmog a legendary into a basic weapon then what?

At first, it bothered me too. But, think of it this way. All Nephalem can materialize matter. That's never really discussed but all classes do it in one way or another. So, it kinda makes sense that way.

1. In one of the DFans pics on FB, I saw a lot of what I think said "Scholarly Writings" on the ground. What are those?
2. Saw a legendary that says it gives you Nephalem glory globes?

Thank you. I am not trolling. This is a legitimate idea. Does my request seriously seem as unreasonble as Sol's? Wouldn't you rather be able to see a full picture of a final product without spending gold instead of piece by piece? No way do I want this to be in the game because it would be confusing but a site tool or app would work nicely in my opinion.

Think of it this way...John Doe loves this chest so he transmogs. Also, he likes these shoulders..transmog. Then..wait...maybe he wanted those other shoulders. He just wasted his gold.

1. Completely agree with the idea of Guilds. In the past they said they were thinking about it but I would like to see a solid guild model from this game maybe with guild specific events or something. Or even a guild stash that could expand your inv but you have to go to the guild house to get it. Like I said far fetched ideas but why not brainstorm.
2. PVP FPS-style. Yea I know they don't want to make it an esport but I mean come on. You could add some capture the flag or something to make it more interesting. CTF would be more evade based and a new way to think about playing.]
3. Custom banner sigils. Ya I know its a long shot but it would be interesting. Regulate the images to a certain size gif and just make it black and white for coding reasons and it could work.
4. More than one dye layer. Some parts of the armor can't be dyed. This could change that.
