Feb 7, 2009the barbs stature is huge yeah its gotta be hes the beast. her hair makes up for it a little though.. i wonder if they will have a class cap or.. whatever, they had 2 barbs 2 wizards. nice optional feature.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
Feb 3, 2009question was already asked: source (new dev tracker feature here on diablofans.)Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
if you have any questions that could be answered by bashiok you have to go to the diablo 3 forums from their website http://www.blizzard.com/diablo3/
also, i think it was said that hes not responding to questions directly asked to him. something about he'll post in the thread if he wants but wont if you try asking him like its a 1 on 1 chat.

good choice if you want to be unique.. i dont see many people talking about female barb but looking at a high level perspective she'll prob look pretty badass.Quote from name="dub Lucifer" »Female barb , I can't wait to put her through the paces.... and of course she will be scantily clad.
i already said my overall choice was witch-doctor but damn i want to know the 2 remaining classes, i have a feeling i might change my mind.
Jan 31, 2009no thanks.. if theres gonna be ladders thats just retarded some guy could go dominate in pvp.. diablo 3 is going to be about equality while still being very diverse, that's my impression anyways.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion

Jan 30, 2009no i doubt it.. they arent gonna put skills there that you're forced to use no matter what it is.. but its there to help.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
quoting myself here:
well fox you have to add in all the fun stuff +int dmg/increased mana rate/+overall mana i dont know the stats but im sure as you level the rate will too and there are sure to be gear that will help with fury/mana/health.

Jan 27, 2009this thread is pretty bad, no wonder i stopped posting in it. lydeck is right about gameplay but what i wanted to say is that if you were making this game why would you show screens of later parts in the game. they pretty much use the area where the gameplay video was made that's it, they don't need to reveal any more then that. if you got no faith in the blizz devs then i feel sorry for you. besides fuckin with the fans is very entertaining.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
Jan 26, 2009yeah i know they're just drops etc.. etc.. but for instance like the boots. they shine like its meant for a paladin heh.. i don't know. we haven't seen any glowing items so for me that's a first. its probably a blue, probably something slightly higher grade. who knows what glow a unique will have?Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
Jan 26, 2009btw guys heres another!Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
im beginning to think this is similar to the jim raynor screenshot search, lol. once again we find the barbarian smashing skulls and breaking bones. top-left of the screenshot you should beable to make out what im calling gloves.. im not 100%. above that off the screenshot you'll see the glow of an unknown item.. again with the blue glow.
maybe there's more.
Jan 26, 2009please read the blue text first then open up the screenshots come up with your own thoughts after reading below the blue.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
this screenshot here your eyes are obviously drawn to the barbarian. top-left of the screenshot you see pants and what i think are gloves.
this screenshot, once again your eyes are drawn towards the wizard. left side of the screenshot you can see some glowing boots.
okay now, this may seem irrelevant but i was browsing the diablo forums.. just checkin the posts on the latest media update and i remembered how they just love to fuck with people(the devs.) when the d3 gameplay video was shown it was picked apart, people saw a bow.. staff, etc. i just thought this would make an interesting conversation and perhaps its some clues towards the next class that they'll eventually unveil. for example: the boots, what is causing them to glow? what material are they? what class do you picture in them? the pants, they appear to have 3 blue dots. what could that be?
maybe blizzard has done this in more screenshots then we know, i only checked the top 6/7
Jan 26, 2009hm.. nice thread. the barb looks powerful and a really awesome character with great support buffs no doubt. i was looking at the witch doctor though, for some reason i've really fallen for the class. the class i would like to have after that would prob be the wizard for the sake of power leveling and helping out friends who will inturn plvl me. if theres a shapeshifting class i might go with that though for a first.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
hope d3 gives us enough slots to make each character +1/or more.

taken from some interview i copy/pasted awhile ago..Quote from "Kenzai" »The barb is the only returning character. Why do poeple keep talking about other chars returning.
I think the WD is nature-oriented enaugh. But thats just an opinion i guess.
Theres lots of ways to make him unique actually. More shapeshifting, earth type spells...
1UP: Again, as a Diablo fan, I'll just say that I was a "Hammerdin" (hammer-focused Paladin) in Diablo II, and was a bit sad that you showed other classes instead. Can you talk about how the team arrived at showcasing the Barbarian and the Witch Doctor?
RP: Just lots of arguing and debating until we decided. The Barbarian was the easy one for us, because he's one of the few classes that's coming over into the new game, and we thought that'd be a great opportunity to really show people what's new about Diablo III through the lens of a class that people have already played. So you can really see what's different about the game through just watching the Barbarian. We also wanted to show something new, and we argued quite a bit about which class to focus on and show to the public. The Witch Doctor won out.
but eh ya know.. theres been times where they've said it is the only returning character or like in this interview.. so theres no guarantee. i think what he might have meant is that the chars who are back in the game but may just have a skill upgrade/look etc.. etc.. wizard has many old sorc skills that are prob just refurbished.

Sep 25, 2008he had a great idea on that but i would have gone something like... as you level your carrying weight increases, backpacks you can buy to provide more space for that added space. every 10 levels your weight ability would beable to hold more and at 90 it would be max. but the problem is you could max out your inventory(rings, light items) and still have weight to carry And another problem is you wont beable to max out your inventory(heavier items, armor/weps) but your weight gage will max out thus you wont beable to carry anymore.Posted in: News
ill keep it to blizzard they will figure out something i like what they had already i see no problem.
Aug 23, 2008Simply be creative and post one or more detailed suggestions or your personal wishes for the Diablo 3 Team ... What do you want to see in Diablo 3 concerning Trading features and PvP features. Post them below.Posted in: News
- ability to quickly trade items on your current logged in character on b.net through whatever channel you're in or through private messages without having to join into a game(real time trades able to go thru pm's, channel to person in game or anything of the combination.)
- ability to make a list of items you no longer want for whoever wants them in your friends list.
- ability to create a mule character that cannot gain level or leave act 1 but has a much larger inventory and bank.
- ability to have an item trading system in b.net where you can browse through item's you're interested in buying and next to the item it will list the person's "trade name"(see below) and a short description of what they might want for the item.
- "trade name" seperate from your account name this name is used to send pm's from one trader to another so that the players account name doesn't have to be given away. a person can set and change their trade name once logged into b.net and it would act exactly as friends list with the same commands /add /remove /ignore etc..
- Item duels, players can set-up 1v1 2v2 etc.. duels with items as waigers, whoever wins takes the pot.(can also be looked at as a "trading feature")
- class specific duels, the game maker can set the game to only allow a certain class or certain classes into the game aswell as level range.
- gamesetting/search, game maker can set wether its a pvp/pve game (if pve then ability to hostile is turned off.) players can quickly search for games with pvp/pve.
thats it, i just want to say thank you blizzard for bringing us diablo 3. i was not one of those people complaining about the color or other shit i've been really excited since WWI in france and been really looking foward to diablo 3 and starcraft 2.. they are two of the original games that have got me interested in gaming.
thanks again looking foward to D3 and SC2.
