Quote fromThere is a talent modifier in some of the other trees that says "30% extra damage for all Storm spells" or something. And another modifier that adds %dmg to ALL spells. But even so, I do feel the damage the spells do seem to be on the low side.
OH so i guess you guys want the damage levels to be....OVER 9000!!!!!!!

The 4 player thing is just the best possible thing they have in their current build. Their ideal goal is still set at 8 players and things are still subject to change as they balance the classes and things out. If you've seen the gameplay thus far- you can imagine that 8 players running around in this setting with their visually flamboyant skills would basically create a giant counterstrike FLASHBANG on your screen
The stat randomizing is true thus far. again still subject to change- but most likely not from the vibe of things.

You do remember that Diablo II had bats that fired lightning from their wings, swarms of insects, lightning firing beetles and poison spitting maggots that were allied or corrupted by the forces of hell against you right?
Think about that before criticizing the frog idea
Frogs are actually a pretty unique - though odd at first- idea. It fits the Witch Doc jungle vibe and again- certain frogs in real life are also known to be beyond deadly to humans... Their poisons are brutal dude...BRUTAL.

But to humor you...yeah I think it's totally awesome. Toads may come off a tad odd- but goes with the Witch Doc vibe at the end of the day. Beware da crazy frog maan!
Firebats are totally disco. Gotta love them. Primal-ly delicious.

Serious LOL at the OP for this...you speak like you own the damn franchise. Wake up buddy! Dream time is over...It's Blizzard's not yours- give THEM some due respect instead of talking down to em.

Tetris Inventory is obsolete by fact...not by opinion. Wake the hell up. If you want to make an argument- do so with a brain and not your ass please. Carpel Tunnel in the D2 community probably popped up from all the tetris inventory shit...you on the other hand might've developed it by jerking off to the tetris system...
Respeccing does not make the game easier. On what basis do you want to argue that? Respeccs are just a way to explore different directions in your character without having to remake one from the ground up everytime you want to try something new. It's like saying you prefer a horse driven carriage to a car when making an inter-city trip...
Blizzard has never been about breaking ground in in-game graphics systems. Their engines have always existed in the fine line between quality and capability of running on lower-end systems so that everyone can enjoy their games. That's why they're blizzard and if you really were a long-time fan- you'd appreciate that fact at least.
Blizzard has the right to attract a larger fan base. They are far from the sell-out companys that develop games en masse these days. Want them to suck your cock because you think you're a life-long fan that deserves committment? Go pay EA games your 200 dollars, I'm sure they can work a deal out for you.

Gotta love the humour behind that though. WitchDoc ftw.

Their focus was drawn aside to the prime evils because of all the goings on of Diablo II. Hardly stops them from being assassins when they're after the Prime Evils' heads.

You actually liked re-rolling a class just because you figured out the skill you decided to max was worse for hell mode than some other skill?
Honestly, that hatred for respec seems to be a blind hatred because it is synonymous with WoW instead of it being a player control mechanic. Learn to make a valid argument here instead of - HEY I'm bored and jobless enough TO PLAY 5million Characters to lvl 99! SO I LIKE BEING PENALIZED FOR MISTAKES!
You want to whine about stats being taken away and control being lost? Think about what you're gaining in terms of respeccs and skill tree options. Your melee wizard deal is in there via spectral blade improvements and what not -just not in the stupid stat pumping way you remember.

I <3 the Grammar Police. I thought that I was the only one 0_0.

This way you have a fixed health for hell and all that crap- so basically it boils down to worrying about your fight strategy + skill/talent choice to combat through higher difficulty levels!
Effectively choosing stats gave you too much control over your character, while now- taking away that control and putting more focus on skills, gameplay tactics and talents, you have more interesting control aspects on your plate!
Food for thought!
