love AoM! even though AoE2/the conquerors is my favorite "age of" i'd place AoM + the titans in my number two.

i've always talked about Ensemble Studios making a sequel to the game with my friends and we always hope the do. more civs with their mythos would be sweet, like ancient china and japan, persia, possibly hindu, celtic pagan (though that might be too similar to norse). plus an upgrade of the original 4 (greek, norse, egypt, atlantean). also maybe make the map editor a little easier to navigate. i tried to make tons of maps but i always got lost with the tools.

favorite civ is probably the norse (thor with dwarf bonus ftw), though i love every civ equally since the game is so unique.

edit: in the sequel i'd love to see more campaigns with an epic storyline. in the first there were 2 (with the expansion) and a mini campaign ES had for download on their website. a new campaign could be about anything, especiall with new civs introduced; the possibilities are endless.

I think major patches like in d2 would be better than full on expansions every year. personally i think d3 and one expansion full of new game content would be awesome enough where it doesnt need constant add-ons, just patching errors and adding small things like new runes/uniques, etc.

big ol' Grisy. probably the most bad-ass member in town, also becomes a zombie in d2! i would have picked the dying townsman but he wasn't in there (i forgot his name). he's a trooper. :-\

i'm surprised the ref didn't call the match earlier. it seems like he waited when brock had couture on the ground and was slamming him in the face a few times. great match tho, i thought brock would win.

a memorable moment for me was seeing the box art and title alone. i remember when i was about 11 and i was at a friends house and he said "wanna play diablo on the PS?" and he shows me the case and i see the pic of diablo with the fiery title and all i could think was "we have to fight THAT?!" and then once i see the intro cinema and we go into the game... i knew it was gona be on hell of a ride (no pun intended).

i agree, i'd rather have a set story line in the form of the trilogy of games rather than make a new story arch in d4 which introduces something ridiculous like dragons or creatures from another dimension. i've always seen diablo as just the trilogy (with an epic ending at the end of 3 :O)

seems like the orbs were inspired by God of War, though in that game the orbs get pull by Kratos when you walk close. i'm glad blizzard is making you have to walk 'into' them to collect them, otherwise it would be easier to survive. and i'm hoping d3 is a good challenge.
