When I sat down with lead “Diablo III” designer Jay Wilson last week to talk about the team’s design choices and his thoughts on fan-altered screenshots, he told me that Morrisroe was the one who spearheaded the franchise’s design changes. Specifically, I asked who we should blame for the rainbows. Wilson said:
“If you want to blame anyone for the rainbows, you’d blame our art director Brian [Morrisroe]. Because Brian is more the person who drove the art style into where it is. But it didn’t really come directly from him. What he brought to the art team was concepts and ideas — the idea of contrast, the idea of using color more, the idea of going for a more stylized look. Because what we were looking at before was more photo-realistic. Really trying to get something that looks like a painting — that was his goal. But the actual result of that came from the art team. And a lot of the environment guys, and some of the texture artists, they’ve all kind of chipped in to try and get the feel of something that was very unique.”
When I read this I thought It's good that he Quit, or as I believe got sacked and was told to say he leave on his own account. Blizzard doesn't like to show weakness, they wanna look firm in their decisions without getting swayed by the fans outcry.
Who in his right mind leaves Blizz in the middle of such major project to build his own company with the state of the market today. Couldn't he wait some more? who knows, They should interview him and not Blizz about it, maybe he'll spill the beans.
And If he leaves in the middle it's not going to help his resume
Anyway ppl Ignore to what he "contribute" to the art as stated above. It can't be bad to get new perspective to stuff after all his good doings /sarcastic off
Why not elevate someone within Blizzard to the job if it's not a major role still? If the art direction is completely done with why not to...? The answer I vote for that it's not over & done with, expect some changes.

I AM ADDICT
I'm admitting it to myself so that I could get treatment asap and have a good healthy life.
First step is to admit it to yourself, now come the hard part

Search is your friend.

To speak with other players with your native language use pm (or implant a little chat in pop up window).
I hate to see multi spam of Brazilian/Turkish/Singapore and other languages...(don't take it personally the languages above they are mere examples)
I didn't play very much d2 on the net (was very long time ago and briefly)
but I'm long mmo player.
The little kids is one thing, language barrier is another.

I like to shout my items & watch vendors selling on the floor with their little shops, the good deals you would've found cause ppl sometimes write the price wrongly hehe.
But the good thing about with auction house is that it makes the main chat less full with spam of WTS/WTB items.

Well in theory only, you know as well as I that there won't be 15 acts.
Let's cut to the chase shall we?, the devs said there will be difficulties + there isn't any petition against it..;) so I believe they're going to stay for good.
but again I support some things, other than stronger mobs, should be changed as we rise in difficulties It will give us something new and not the same old.

What he got more than 9k o.o? hehe
(well he got more than 6mil seiyan 5 or so)
on topic:
With the new difficulty they're thinking on, maybe they'll rise the bar a little, 120 maybe

I like the idea about more content as we rise in difficulty, that's a positive touch.
and I didn't say not to immunities in general just not make elite mob in act 1 stronger than diablo/baal.
Isn't that silly? more hp/def/tactics is more more preferable, and if goes the immunity way for lower mobs don't give them 3 types of immunities...
Another thing, If we take out the difficulties and make game with max lvl 99 (for example), How we will reach this lvl exactly? gring our way? make xp rate x5 faster? maybe it's me but I don't want to rise 25 lvls in the first act alone.

More so, I don't think it is doable to make game last till lvl 99 without making some short of difficulties
or grinding areas (for mmo's and Diablo isn't mmo!)
So what with all the high lvl items? it will be pointless.
But:
1) Do no make low lvl mobs have immunities In hell, It render some builds useless. Give them more defense, better AI & hp etc.
2)Make the new hard difficulty setting focus on multiplayer gameplay.
New smarter mobs AI & coopertative playing (ambushes for example), and huge mothafacka bosses for the party.

They are my only hope for a long time :X
EDIT: I checked blizz main site for clues when will be the next Blizzcast.
1st:01/10/08
2nd:02/22/08
3rd:06/01/08
4th:-unknown-
erm the Second one came within 1 month and 12 days from the first.
The Third within 4 months and 21 days from the second.
We are in in the start of July (7th), I believe we will need to wait at least 3-4 months till the 4th Blizzcast clip will be uploaded.

It was long time assumed that every symbol symbolize 1 game of Blizzard.

and to make boss run is not likely to happen.

First we will be gimped hard with kiddy grade mindless playing, take you by the hand short of way(look at fable, Do I need say more?) and second they will do some crappy ui to help the lousy controllers be more effective (it will go oblivion sooner or later if they go this way).
It makes me sick to the bones all the fanboys defending the consoles, it is the worst. The bane of the creative mind.
The only thing good about consoles you don't need to change spec every 3 years & ps3 still don't have useful hacking tools on the market.
You cannot get a game to pc + console without it having an effect on the pc version, present game or future releases.
