This is what is wrong with the gaming industry. You shouldn't even get me started.
It shouldn't be about the money. And almost every single game now a days is made with nothing but money on the mind.
It almost makes piracy look good, because if you can get rid of those companies using the gaming industry as their monopoly then it gives way to independent developers to design games for fun and not money ... ahem, sorry about the tangent. But I feel that blizzard has never done that before. All their games are classic and they would never sell out for money... I hope.
They aren't patching the graphics.... lol. They patch code, which is coding in C probably which they still have software for because they use C in their new games.
Yeah the code is the important stuff. You could update the graphics with almost anything. If they are updating the actual source code then they obviously still have the software.
i agree and i really support the idea of blizzard to leave everything alone about d2 and just add more content...but i need a lot more content...like 10 new acts and 20,000 new items and 4 new classes....lol asking a little much? maybe...but if it was done thatd be totally bomb

Dont know if this has been suggested , i only got 30 pages into this thread before i thought of this.
Maybe the Diablo hype is for an expansion to the Diablo 2 series instead of a complete new Game , makes more sense imo.
Why has a patch to Diablo 2 just been released , a patch that doesent require the Diablo 2 disc ... ?
honestly (as long as it's a massive expansion) I'd be happy with this. I don't need updated graphics or anything like that. Or maybe even a prequel?
Its like This, They have 3 runes that relate to each game. The 4th rune is unrelated to any of blizzards main games. Im thinking the 4th rune looks like somthing that has to do with space. And all the worlds of each game aligning creating a game that twist them all together. With one player defeating every villan in each types of blizzards games..
Yeah I just hope they don't decide to combine the games all together.

We got runes related to Blizzards universes so far, or to Blizzard Games ? The first one is WOW, Hel Rune is for D2, and the other one just mach Starcraft 2, this could be Starcraft 1 or Diablo 1 related...
This one is different though, it's the only one that doesn't have those circle things next to it and the only one no one has been able to figure out...

I dont know if it is just me, but of course remember when your fighting Baal and the throne he is sittin upon, if we were down in the right hand corner looking towards the throne, you might see a resemblance form the "negative" that was posted on page one
