    posted a message on a clan\guild system!!
I think a guild system should be implemented, but nothing to hard. Let's say...

    1: Battle.net Chat room?
2: Informations on your guildmates (A kind character sheet overview and also if they are online/offline and in which game are they).
3: Some kind of ranking system for PVP guilds

posted a message on Who else thinks gold should be worth something in D3?
The only way Blizzard could make the Gold the currency in D3 is to make a system way more gold dependant than before.

    - Auction House (battle.net system which people could put stuff on sail for gold even when logged off)

    - Make gold very much more rare or easy to pickup from mobs. (I don't see myself loot every gold from the thousands of monsters i just killed) (auto-gold pickup, drops only from certain mobs/boss?)

    - Respeccing (With the new skill trees Blizzard are implementing, i just feel like respeccing will be possible. But shouldn't be too easy (not free) to do.

    - Quest reward -> Gold! (if it ends at a NPC / drops from the mob or chest like The Countess)

    - Mercenaries : That's one of a good way to make money worth something. Mercenaries need to be much stronger and cost much more (comparing economy here). So losing ur Merc would make you angry.

posted a message on What Bill Roper Thinks About Diablo 3.
I wish I could remind Bill that is game was not always dark and creepy...

I would like also to point out things that I kept thinking when there was that Artistic saga we lived right here on diablofans.com. Which is : Monster/equip color. I know we don't always think about it but Diablo II team did an AWEFUL job on special monsters and items color. Not only it didn't fit with their estethic design, it was also VERY ugly. I don't have Diablo 2 installed and can't find any screenshot right now. But it was very comon to see a pink (nearly glitching pixelized) sword or staff on a character that did'nt fit into the style. I also think that Diablo II never been a beautiful game, at least, it never been is strength.

Golden heart valves? Perhaps this mean Deckard has been an angel in disguise all along. I mean, he just HAPPENS to be the only survivor of Tristram? He's an old man...I believe there is more to Cain than meets the eye.

I am no expert in Diablo lore but if I correctly remember, he is not just a old man, he is something like the last of the Horadrim, powerful and mysterious mage group that are linked to every thing evil have to do in the world of Sanctuary. So of course there's something we don't know about him :D

But yea, he is still an old man.

posted a message on Bashiok on Identity in Diablo 3
In fact, Identify was always cool because (in D1, if I correctly remember (i was like 10 yrs old so) you could have some cursed item and wear them anyway. In D2. It was more anoying than the rest, cause once you had you inventory full, you had to identify everything to throw crap loots to be able to get other unidentified. This process was just a reason to buy more scroll of ident or scroll of tp to go ident and sell stuff. If Blizz, like they already stated earlier, want to make the game faster with less stops, less going back to town. They gonna need to find something else.

I thought about the fact that when I started play Diablo 2. The coolest feeling was not to identify a good unique item, but rather just seeing it drop on the floor. Not knowing if that Golden : Great Sword was good for me or not.

If so, they may just let items unidentified on the floor and that these items just identify automaticly once you pick them up or use them.

If it's after using them, of course, no bind on equip should be in the game. Also, that would be good for trades. If the attributes aren't static. People could play with this on trade, just liike they did in D2 v1.10

Can someone tell me what the blue/purple button does? I clicked it a few times and couldn't work out if it did anything.

Ahah Blizz does it again. The blue purple thing is just a remake of the gem from the DII bnet chat. The gem was doing nothing but peple loved to think this could have something to do with a secret bonus ingame or something like that.

    But very nice find.

edit : I also think this is a progression update. The image will probably change from time to time until some kind of announcement. I would like some news about the story. Thats cute, Diablo is back, but how??! I would like to have some "hints" of DIII story

posted a message on PCGZine's Diablo III Cover Story, Including 10 New Exclusive Screenshots!
    Quote from "Ody" »
Logic and reasoning makes us expect it to be out in 2010.

SC2 beta is starting NEXT year, probably in late Jan / Early feb. Add 2-3 months of beta testing to that and it's already May. After beta-testing is done, add a few more months for the release of it, and now it's July.

So you expect Diablo 3 to come when again? It's already been said that D3 will ship after SC2.

Yeah, and I fear 2-3 months won't be enough for a beta for SC2. With all the "balance" of the multiplayer, this will be a long process I fear.

And don't forget, We only saw 1 act on screenshots, if we expect there is at least as much content than in D2, there is still 3 to go. Of course we know how it will look like because we heard about the concepts etc. tho, we don't know how far they are into implementing the stuff in the game. And if you checked a bit about the blizzcon demo. Half of the skills of each class weren't even implemented yet. And this is just from 3 of 5 classes we know about. After that, they will need to balance every skill, every monster, every boss fight for each class since now its pretty more strategic than it was (well it appears so).

So my fear is that thinking about early 2010 is also too optimistic. We won't have a open beta until every class is announced. So if we think they announce a class every 4-5 months, the beta wont start until late 2009. 6 months of Beta, closed and open, getting the game gold etc.. Releasing... Ya mid 2010 at least I fear.

I would love to be wrong and play the game earlier tho.

posted a message on Thinking of building a Diablo 3 fan site? Blizzard wants to help!
Have I just seen Pit Flyer Spawner? I hat those "spawner" things, like the act1 bird nest or the act2 plague bearer sarcophaz.45$? what ever and the evil globlins hut in act5. I think that they sucked, tho they will make a return in 3 i believe...

And am I alone to think that the Goatman now have a badass stance? In D1 and 2, they were like standing on the legs and we felt like they were walking for the first time of their lives, now, they feel so much agiile and strong, love it.

posted a message on Character Stat Assigning
I am a bit confused about this. Not about Blizzard decision, but about the community's general opinion over the net, especialy on bnet forums.

The main opinion I keep seeing every 2 posts is : This stats auto-assignment is dumb because it destroys the customization. At the first thought, I agreed, but after remembering my Diablo 2 experience. I changed my mind and told me this : What customization!?

Try to remember your first Character you've made in Diablo 2. Back when you didn't know the game mechanics, what items was gonna help your hero to kick some asses, what spells were going to be useful at level 90 and which one would be totaly useless. I can bet that EVERYONE here had is first character badly built than after like 30 levels, realised that you should have done your character a certain way. After a few tries, you finaly realised that there was a perfect way to build a character.

Put a minimum of strength and dext since items bonuses would compensate, max out Vitality and leave Energy untouched. This brings us back to the question: What customization?! Is maxing Vitality really a customization?! I mean, after 5 months, EVERYONE realised it, and All characters will have the same Stats. So What's the big deal about it? Did you really think you were the only one who had this overpowered build? Everyone who played this game long enough realised how it really worked. In D3, if they put the same stats mechanic, It will take only few months for the entire planet to know 1 perfect build.

So, if 2 millions of people, including you and me, put the same number of points in each stats because we allllll know that this is the best build, is this still customization? I think it's not. So instead of puting customizable stats live for 5 months, just trhow this shit away and find another way to customize a character. Make every spells worth the be maxed out, make every item stats useful in some way. Make every class good in pvp and pve. Thats what Blizzard is trying to do.

posted a message on Diablo 3 Death Mechanic and Town Portal
"graveyards" depending on the zone you are so u just rez back there. Though, I think that leaving your "body" where u died is still the best mechanic. When u die in a 30 mobs mass with Extra Fast Lightning Enchanted Unique monster is like such a challenge to get your corpse back, even back then, when the AI wasn't that great. I would love to know how I would manage to recover my body in the middle of an army, naked in D3. Just my thoughts

posted a message on No Spellbooks in Diablo 3
That's, in my opinion, a great news. I loved the concept of searching for new spells. But making a Barb able to throw a Nova is just not right.

And this goes with the Runewords too, The Enigma and Cie thing. I think it is just wrong, of course Blizzard was trying to put some PVP stuff in the game without having to reprogram the skills mechanics but I would love to see them NOT coming back in Diablo 3.

What I would like to see though is Secondary Skills or Talents, learnable by a book or a item that people could get trhough the game but that are not specific to a certain class.

Like i don't know : -Identification, -Pathfinding (run faster for a short time), -Repair, -Ammo Making

Cute stuff like that which ny class could benifit in some way.

posted a message on Diablo 3 Item Grace Period & Alt Key
English isnt my first language so I am not really ure of what I just read. But I thought it was.

Thst you press Alt or not, Items that drops will have their names shown for 5 seconds then fade. After, if you still want to press Alt you can, but they have built a system that could give the chance for players to see items that drops without hold Alt all the time.

for ex: If you won't grab anything that is not Rare or Unique, then it's pretty useless to hold Alt down since every time an item drops, you see its name (in color). So until you see something in yellow or in gold, you don't have to pay much attention to the loots and the Alt keys.

If this is it, I think it is great, but I am wondering how it's gonna work if you just AOE the room with a sorc (ex) then all monsters die in same time, droping ALOT of items, then your screen is full of names. I remember avec some problem fighting monsters with Alt key down in D2. So much items on the floor you couldn't even select a monster... Just hope this wont be a problem

posted a message on Diablo 3 Won't Have Locked Chests
When they said they weren't just making D2 in 3D, they were actualy right. But I must say that Locked chest weren't that of a importance, in D2, you just run back 10 seconds and you find a key that dropped go back to the chest and realised you did this for cracked boots, a stamina potion and 3 golds. It didn't worth it that much.
