Amazing job of photoshopping pics that you guys are doing. It doesn't help your case at all. Distorting pics of the demo, and then passing them around to sway public opinion is about as flawed as anything could get.
Here are some facts:
1) The petition is already bogus, because it has fake names on it. Lots of fake names. The results are invalid.
2) You've seen a small fraction of the game, a small demo. You don't even know if that level IS in the game, and what part it is. That might have been a map made just for this demo.
3) You don't know what color settings the demo was made in. What gamma settings did they use? What filming method? How do you know they didn't turn up the gamma, just for demonstration purposes? Having a demo be mostly dark would be dumb.
4) What do the later areas look like? What about Hell areas? More corrupt areas?
5) This is no longer the age of sprite graphics. Welcome to 2008, we have dynamic lighting and a much larger color pallette to use.
The heart and soul of the Diablo games has always been two things: Presentation of story, and exciting hack and slash against overwhelming odds. Gameplay decides the game, not fond memories of limited sprite graphics.
All Excellent points and I could'nt agree more the diablo series has always been a trailblazer and to want to take steps back instead of forward is nonsense I for one want to see more of the game before making any kind of assumption

Either Way this Game looks amazing!!!!!! i wonder what the other 3 classes are, plus if you see the cinematic it looks like that creature (the new incarnation of Diablo) ? has more than one head could that have been what the hydra codename was all about? i got goosebumps when i heard the music at first in the cinematic cause it sounded oh so familiar

oddly enuf Diablofans forums are mentioned on 1up's website they've been watching the forums as well its on the front page entitled 5 reasons diablo III will be released/announced something like that
I'm a Warcraft fan, I own every single game in the Warcraft history. I was playing Warcraft II on Kali with GFrazier. I was also in a couple of his clans.
Lol i remember the Kali days thats the 1st ladder system that i was ever introduced to what clans were you in i played between 1997/8ish-2000
Im sure its been mentioned and to state the obvious, Armageddon is'nt that the war Between heaven and hell, and from some of the rumors that have been slung around that D3 if made would feature heaven and hell battling due to the world stone no longer able to hold the evils at bay ? and those "LOST" numbers are from the Armageddon theory right ?

I'm a national guardsman for MA, but in Missouri I was stationed at Fort Leonard Wood, because of the live agent training offered.
Ahh thats cool i was stationed at Whiteman workin in phase inspection the only time we saw masks and charcoal suits was on our annual where we got to sit for 2 hours and learn how to inject the chloride stuff heh i have a buddy in the guard currently we were both in the same shop hes over in afganistan doin the A-10 crew chief thing.
maybe it's just me but i think the graphics from Kingdom under fire: CoD would be pretty neat as a DIII Port that game had alot of impressive visual effects
Hey everyone i'm also new i've been watching the site and forums for a little bit but decided to finally register, nbc where are you stationed ? i used to be in the USAF as well and was stationed in Missouri I can actually remember playin D2 LOD just before joining and met alot of people in the AF that played D2 as well.
