I remember going to bed pissed the hell off earlier that night after seeing the new teaser trailer... ya know, since it hardly changed. There was a new glyph that looked like a smiley, and all the others lit up even more, I don't think the ice had cracked any more. I remember yelling "Now they're just fucking with us!" and going to bed.
Woke up the next morning and was venting to my brother about how they were just yanking us around now, went to go to Blizzard.com, and I just about wet myself.
I realize that it may be fake.. but it's not that simple.. when I was redirected it brought me to the sites directory.. and one of the pictures on the list was "splashfinal" and this was the picture it showed.
Now when you try to go back to that link.. it 404's.
I just tried getting here to this site and for some reason and sent me to a directory page... in it was this liink that definetly caught my interest. I found this
For the past few days, there has been a Diablo III wiki that was following along with the splash image. It had a lot of the theories put into one place and I was busy reading it. Now it's gone. Could it have been silenced. or do you think it was deleted by someone just to piss us off?
Well I can understand you feel that way. Myself personally I am hoping for a combination of the open lands as with a lot of underground lvls, caves and so forth. I really want to feel the creepy, dark claustrophobic feeling again. Also im missing the almost impossiple mission the butcher (diablo 1), alone the fear of being butchered was crawling down my spine even when I played with my uncle and we were forced to play the cat after mouse just to get out bodies again
I haven't seen this mentioned yet, so I figured I had might as well jump in and say it myself:
Could it also be possible that their using cracking ice could have nothing to do with either ActV if D2 or WotLK? The company's name IS Blizzard, an ice based name itself, and I can't speak for any of the other games but I know that when I click on my D2 game, the first thing it shows is Blizzard's name breaking out of ice. It just doesn't look as good as this new one may.
I am also hoping that this is D3... just so everyone knows.

Of course it is a ploy... it says RIGHT in the header "Blizzard in June" It's summer, and there's a blizzard... haha Blizzard, you're a silly bitch!
