I do believe preference would differ from person to person, but what do you all think the whole Diablo franchise is more deserving of?
A remake of the classic with new content and due respect to graphical adjustment, or another World of Warcraft set in a different storyline?
I can't f u c k ing wait anymore - I want to play new fucking Diablo - with new stories - I wouldn't give a shit if it still looks like a 10 year old game - as long as we get new gameplay, new storyline, new everything...
I'm torn between treating rediscoveries with kindness and acting as though something completely novel has been brought up...or damning them to the depths with Diablo himself.
I am not trying to ride out the point that D3 will get you a different result than Sc3, but my main point/question is: Why does it do that all the way up to 6? That makes no sense at all...

He brings up a valid point, do not criticize him for repetition, however. Ferret should not have to wade through a sea of spam to find such once more!
But people are doing the same thing with these "eyes" for all we know, it could be just part of the ice that has fallen and they are playing games with us, because they know that everyone would talk about it being the eyes of WotLK, Diablo, Protoss.
That's actually a very good point, GhostZ. Touché. I suppose the only real evidence here is that there is a teaser and that it is teasing something, the rest is simple speculation.
Honestly, im not sure how many people can see this, and i saw it this morning but didnt feel like posting it. If you look above the "eyes" (above the right eye) and look into the darker area, you can see a lighter spot that looks like Baal, its got the same shape of a head with an open mouth and eyes. Does anyone else see it?
It is a distinct possibility, but nothing more than a young child looking to the skies and making things of the clouds above.
It's preposterous how this thread has gone to 209 pages in length.
And I haven't chimed in a bit.
As for the teaser, I have no speculatory quip. I am simply going to wait until big Blue unveils their new prized secret. I will not be content until I have heard it straight from the mouths of the Blizzard executives.
As I listen to the gentle grooves of the Tristram theme I contemplate a world that sees the third installment of the Diablo series - be it an MMO or another familiar hack 'n slash. As a faithful fan and staunch supporter I will trod forward with the series as it propsers or fails as I've done over the past eleven years.
I am a Diablo fan.

To translate, 11:45 AM in Paris is the equivalent of 5:45 AM in New York (EST) and 2:45 AM in Los Angeles (PST).

Better question, what will we do if we are let down for the final time?

I would agree with that because Dungeon Siege was fantastic, but still, it should remain as close to Diablo I and II as possible, no?

That would be delightful, just to shove it to all the accursed WoW fans.
