How much trash/retarded nonsense have you put this forum through in the wake of Diablo 3's announcement? Jesus.

They already said they hated having skills that weren't very useful, such as a skill that added 1% crit etc. So, here's hoping they take stick to the same style as Diablo 2.

Based on the new loot system, I hope items become more unique and rare, thus allowing them to drive the market. Like, I'd trade you these two items for that ONE awesome item that I would love to have on my character.

I think you should add onto the question relating to sticking with the Diablo style or not and ask if they are going to take aspects from all three of their major franchises and incorporate them into the game and what aspects those could be, if not, what things can they tell us are going to be new and original for the game?

Ummm, that smiley face is looking directly at the Hel rune from Diablo 2. Odd that it isn't facing the viewer?

Also, people that are being let in to WWI right now, and receiving their goody bags are reporting alot of things with pictures of Diablo on them, as well as beta keys for a new upcoming game from Blizzard.

It's indeed Diablo 3, what we've been patiently awaiting for so long now...

Look at the rings around his right eye, they look AWFULLY similar to that of the rings around the runes in the splash.

Alright, let me lay this out:

- The splash has NOTHING to do with Diablo 3, it rather represents the franchises associated with Blizzard and WWI.
- What is melting the ice is believed to be the game which they plan to announce at WWI, which most obviously seems like Diablo 3.
- The WWI splash on the shop page shows 3 characters from all 3 franchises, with WoW being represented on the left hand side, SC on the right and a more detailed Diablo, also slightly larger than the other 2 characters, with a fireball surrounding his claws/fist. This fireball does form a 3 around his claws.
- The number theory involving the alphabet is thrown out the window, as well as the coded-word being spelt. The purple creature being formed from fragments each day does resemble the fan art of Diablo on Blizzard's site.
- The words from the CSS are still, at this time, irrelevant due to the fact that they can be linked to all 3 franchises.

So basically, there's two VERY strong ideas that point to the game being announced being Diablo 3. These ideas cannot be altered by forum theorycrafting or flailing imaginations.
