ok, there is much work to be done, but i must agree micahmatthew here.
D3 was worked on for quite some time... and they did an amazing job of keeping it under the carpet.
did you notice that there was no bigger leaked rumors about D3? only a news bulletin on official blizz page that they are hiring new developers.
so i think they workd on it in the dark, down in the basement for quite some time now...

I felt like I got much more into Diablo 2 though, because of the enhanced game mostly and more areas to explore, I got a feel for the world of Sanctuary.

I say 1 new expansion each year for 2 years.

Each person gets there own drops, the monster drops random items, but for each person seperately.
That system sounds perfect to me.
We all get our own items off the monster, completely as if single player.

Titan Quest had graphics NO WHERE near as good as what we have seen in D3.
They were MUCH worse.

Yah this was posted before and makes great sense, but even if it is diablo, he has more then one head, and in that case is also a hydra.
