To be honest, I haven't played much at all since the release of 1.10. But looking for D3 information on BNet forums ran across the 1.13 thread...
The top 3 that I've seen, and I liked...
1. Being able to Respec. This one is undoubtedly my favorite, hopes it would trickle to single player.
2. Shared Stashes between account.
3. Bigger Stash.
[Edit] Sorry did not see the main thread, my apologies... Don't wish to clutter.

Not near 25%... but I was one of them. AoC will fail, they rushed it too much to get out before Warhammer.
They have game crippling problems right now, and because those problems exist at release, they will lose a large customer base that won't come back.
Problems such as, Itemization, Economy, "Class Balance", and lack of 30+ content, bugs, lots and lost of bugs. To me, the itemization and economy are the worst. There is no definition on what stats do and the "epics" have 10-30 stats on them. I don't want to read through that many stats to see if its an upgrade or not. The Economy just isn't there, easily fixed though, but "respecs" cost up to 15g, mounts cost 5g and available at 40, most players don't get mounts into their 50's if that paints a pretty picture for you. But they can fix that fairly easy.

At first I was skeptical but it turned out very very good.

Do you think the success of WoW had something to do with the lateness of SC2 and D3? SC2 was already announced while D3 should be in the next couple days. Assuming both are going to be free to play. From a business stand point it makes sense, their cash cow, WoW, starts off big. Eventually it grows to what it is today, has a very stable base of customers, and new content on the horizon. But I do believe they have plateaued for now, many, including me got sick and have left, but not enough to dent their customer base. But this could change with WotLK, it could potentially revitalize the game, or it just keeps the hooks in the stable base.
Why during its growth period would they release their other HUGE games? They have now millions of hooked players paying out monthly vs the other titles one time purchase.
Alternatively, being so successful do you think they reworked D3 to be that "next gen MMO" that the job applications were for? Not like WoW, but just D2 on a massive scale? Not going into concepts cause that will be too much, you can imagine. Maybe WoW was so successful that that they reworked D3 enough to warrant a monthly subscription. As long as its sticks to the D1 and D2 format, I won't mind myself. Could D3 have been under development for all this time?
I have no doubt it will be a quality game, Blizzard has done an outstanding job on every game I have played, but they are in business to make money, also with that money they can develop better products as well.
By old rumors, this is back before Blizzard North broke up, the job applications, and the Chris Hartgraves email, which turned out to be false at the time. Hopefully it has been in development for a long time so we might actually have the game by the end of 09. Hopefully.
Please no flames, just some friendly banter.

Too bad I am going out of the country on the 26th and not able to get any updates until I get back on the 5th I'm going to miss the actual announcement...

I can see why it would be fake. I will remove it or delete the contents.

Nothing to see here.

Pay to Play, isn't that bad. I have said before, the monthly payments ensures updates/support/servers. Battle.net has been GREAT considering its free, but who wouldn't pay for constant support, updates, Zero Cheats and dedicated servers? I know I would, but I would be happy with battle.net again if they do not offer P2P.

Although, as I just started playing D2 again since theres nothing out. I do miss that kind of game as opposed to WoW... D2's gameplay speed is what I mostly miss. Running really fast, way points, town portals, etc... Killing 5-50 mobs at a time vs WoW's 1-5... Classic Vanilla WoW was good, and I miss that. They did turn WoW into crap with the expansions and such, but hopefully they will not let their new ideas, especially crap like Arena, come into "diablo's realm"...

Why?
Look how much attention and support WoW gets? Constant updates, constant attention, etc... Pretty effective anti-cheating measurements. Dedicated servers, non-battle.net.
Battle.net has reigned supreme for most blizzard games and is very very good for being a free service. But I would pay more for a premium service. Similar to Closed and Open Bnet. Open D3 is free on battle.net, Close/Ladder is on D3 subscribed service.
For a smooth / stable / cheat free game... I would definately pay.

I for one hopes its D3 as well. Although Blizzard has a great track record with me for good games. Watch... all this hype and its going to be "we revived the Starcraft Ghost project".... >.<

But damnit, the WWI announcement is when I am out of the country and cannot find out the news.
Just installed D2 again for the new ladder reset. Actually quite refreshing to play that instead of WoW.... and free!
