LOL LMFAO.....why didnt they just keep the color on the shirt the same as the original tho? is it THAT ahrd to do?
Quote from "Genesis" »Lets make a petition for them to change the art direction of the t-shirt
Quote from "Dimebog" »It doesn't raise that question since the mechanic is already known. Only the visual representation has changed.
It works as following: you start with 0 fury and it fills up as you hit monsters with your basic attack (not with a special ability). When you have enough fury in your pool, you use special skills and attacks. If you stand around doing nothing, fury slowly dissipates until it's gone.
The reason behind this is to avoid Barbarians constantly spamming the best magical abilities, since the Barbarian shouldn't be a 'magical' class. That way they ensure that you actually use your weapon to hit monsters directly on the head occasionally, and not constantly spamming WW, HoTE, Leap, etc. Balance is the key. Not to mention that this will make things interesting, and tactical.
Quote from "Magistrate" »For Lightning Sorceresses, at least, I know that (including myself) many prefer a rare circlet with +2 to Sorceress skills, with high res, FCR, STR, and any other attributes. That's way better than a Shako, any experienced sorce player would tell you
Quote from "Doppelganger" »Think more in the line of godly rare amulets, godly blue circlets, those kind of items. Most of the time a simple unique would still outclass them if they aren't truly unbelievably godly, which is a real shame. And for some item types no rare or blue could ever outclass a unique, let alone a rune-word (many weapon types).
Ever for example found a rare armor that could rival many of the medium uniques? If it was possible for rares and magical and crafted items to really outclass each and any runeword and unique, then truly godly end gear would have had so much more variance, instead of the usual Enigma, Grief, etc,... (it would differentiate the true epic from the pebs)
Quote from "HotClaw" »I'm also convinced that Blizzard considered everything discussed in this thread, and came to a similar conclusion. I think the problem is that they don't have the time to come and explain their logic to their fans in excrutiating detail, so some of us end up thinking that they haven't considered all the facts. Before replying with something like "you can't be sure of that" or whatever, consider that it basically comes down to who we're talking about and what they've done in the past, like so many others have said. I guess you could call it faith.
Quote from "Dimebog" »On the contrary, stats will become a real mechanic this time around.
Quote from "gamma11" »i am wasted.
Quote from "InstantLite" »Stats has no point than?
Quote from "Ferret" »
Way too colorful. I mean, what is up with that rainbow and the unicorn on the side, and the garden gnomes picking flowers like everywhere in this pic?...
But seriously, its looking really good. The greyscale artwork of the city/town has a kind of eastern impression on it, when I see it I think of Persia or something. Looks like D3 will be in a lot of places geographically speaking
Quote from "Genesis" »Does the WoW Auction house allow for item to item trades, or is it all just gold for item trades?
Trades should be mixable at the auction house
Quote from "Genesis" »When I was playing Diablo II, back in the early days before WoW was even mentioned. I always thought to myself... "You know this game would be so much better with a proper trading system"
I'd prefer this trading system. I dont even think Diablo 2 trading could be classified as a system, unless you used d2jsp.
Quote from "blizzu" »You are telling things as they were the only right opinion.
With the freedom to allocate stats points as u wish in d2 it came to this:
Enough STR to equip items
Enough DEX to get 75% block
0 Energy (unless u are ES sorc, then u put points to energy instead of VIT)
Everything else to VIT
So where's to point? Every build was the same. That's why we need something new, rebellous, revolutionary and Great!
