What do you think such a class could have to differentiate them from Crusaders?
It'd need to be a necromancer.

I read 'New Class' and instantly lost my shit. Then I read the rest.

Hope no one else had this idea...

I think you agree that giving a kid a beta for him to spread over the entire internet is something different than letting someone come to their studio's, right?

- He's moving too much when playing, like he's overacting.
- He pushes a button when enemy's explode, while this would we something mous-clikck-related. I think he's trying to make his act more convincing when his actions are corresponding with what is on the screen.
- The pressing of the ESC-butten and the appearance of the pause-screen are badly timed.
- It's part 1 of 3, or 1 of 4, but the other parts are nowhere to be found.
- After the intro, you only get to see his face, and nothing of the game. If you've got it, show it.
- There's no way in Hell Blizzard would hand out an early beta copy to some kid just because he's got cancer.

Well then, there are three pictures in the news post 'Fan Art' on Blizzard.com. This is absolutely an obvious hint that Diablo 3 is coming. I mean, none of the pictures is Diablo fanart, but there are three of them, so it's certainly a hidden hint at the coming announcement.

Indeed. It's merely a blank space to seperate the Diablo from the Starcraft games.
(Note: the older games are without space in between, but this is because Blizzard considers them 'classics', and thus a category of their own.)
The entire Diablo 3 community suffers from apophenia.

It's a nice drawing, but I really think the presumed 3 is just some rune Metzen decided to draw there, really. Can't really understand why he'd put 'Diablo 3' above a picture which was made even before the expansion to Diablo 2 came out.

I'm not too sure there will be an announcement at the WWI; I've been dissapointed a bit too often in the past, so I won't get my hopes up too high, but, in general, this move of Blizzard is great news. It feels like it's the first thing in years that indicates that Blizzard still cares about Diablo and it's fans.

Also, it's got nothing to do with Diablo. Diablo is a hack 'n slash game, not an MMORPG/RTS/FPS. Diablo is about slaying monsters against impossible odds, collecting loot, building characters, fighting prime evils and destroying your mouse by repeatedly slamming it's buttons. Not about being something like an elven-dwarf pirate juggler who earns his money by selling his pixelated body in the virtual streets of some digital city. Roleplaying is ok, but it's not Diablo.

Aren't the conflict between heaven and hell and The Sin War the same thing?

I seem to remeber that the very reason that Diablo is walking the earth was because he and his two brothers (Mephisto and Baal), the three prime evils, where overthrown and banished from hell by the lesser evils. So those remaining in Hell, are probably perpetually fighting each other over power, as demons are known to do.
However, as Andariel en Duriel are part of the lesser evils and they're also in the mortal realm, I'm not really sure how this all fits together. Anyway, I believe you can't really draw a separation between the realms of hell, sanctuary and heaven. Hell and heaven are battling each other IN sanctuary, so it seems all mixed up. Could be wrong though.
Well, some book in Diablo I said: "Take heed and bear witness to the truths that lie herein, for they are the last legacy of the Horadrim. There is a war that rages on even now, beyond the fields that we know - between the utopian kingdoms of the High Heavens and the chaotic pits of the Burning Hells. This war is known as the Great Conflict, and it has raged and burned longer than any of the stars in the sky. Neither side ever gains sway for long as the forces of Light and Darkness constantly vie for control over all creation."
Which would imply that The Sin War has been going on forever. However, these books are written by the Horadrim, which would mean that 'forever' means 'from when Sanctuary was created'.
I seem to remember, however, that in one of Knaak's books, that it was mentioned that they created Sanctuary as a refuge from all the Sin War-stuff going on, which would make it more realistic to say that it would be going on forever. It's also refered to as 'The eternal conflict', which is kind of a dead giveaway.

Same goes for uniques. A lot Diablo 1 uniques used to have good and bad properties. Something +10 strength, +10 vitality, but your mana gets down to zero, or you'll loose all you resistances. That sort of stuff. Seems to make the Diablo world a much more dark and depraved world, instead of all these buffing, godly items just lying around.
