We have just recieved the press schedule for WWI and there is one interesting thing to note. After the main presenation which runs between 11:45 and 1PM, Blizzard will be holding a press conference. This raises the question, why hold a press conference straight after unless something rather psecial was going to be announced. We already know about StarCraft 2 and Wrath of the Lich King, and we know there will be developer Q&A sessions with those devs throughout the day. Could we be on the verge of a Diablo 3 announcement?
Next week four of us will be at the event reporting directly back to you here at Diabloii.Net so if something rather special does emerge, you'll be getting the scoop right here

I don't think this is out of the question. They could possibly introduce a rune from the upcoming game.
Also, in reference to WoD AKA "World of Diablo." Don't you guys think they would be a little more original? They can't just keep spitting out World of Warcraft, World of Starcraft, World of Diablo, World of Lost Viking, etc. I think it's obviously going to spell out something else.

18. Rob Pardo confirms game announcement: "So you want me to announce the game before our announcement?" he said. "No offense, but I think there's like 300 people here, and I'll be ripped apart by 8000 people there [at the Invitational] if I pre-announce it - but it's going to be really exciting. I think everybody here will be really excited about the announcement."

If you still have doubts or believe the announcment to be a SC/WC related game then please state the hints/leaks/evidence of such a game and then compare to this list. If there is anytime to announce D3 IT IS NOW!

I really don't think this is done by accident.
1) When creating a project you don't choose randon arbitraury numbers for a resolution.
2) There is no other reason to change the resolution from ice[x].jpg image to ice[x+1].jpg.

Maybe they are too busy to post or they really just don't have anything to say. I'm sure that they do not know more about WWI/D3 then we do (except for the domain transfer date). I know all of this waiting can make you anxious but, calm down!

I meant MMO in the same sense as WoW. Makes since though, Warcraft 3 was under development the same time WoW was. Diablo 3 could be under development and at the same time they could be working on the Diablo "Next-gen MMO."
