Yar, the first thing that popped to mind for me was some type of humanoid raider when I saw those.
Buuuuuuut, given that thus far we have no agile ranged class, a raider-style character would fit that archetype quite well.
I can definitely see it being from the Dreadlands, like a survivalist type character who has adapted techniques from the flora and fauna of the dreadlands, all types of badass poisons n' such. As well as stealth and trickery.
Looks like an occultist from the monk footage to me... -

nothing in sc2 was set in stone even though it has been in development since wc3tft came out, in fact they have already changed a lot of originally planned content of sc2
even though wow is years old, they still develop things
it simply says next-gen mmo because WoD isn't announced yet
blizzard will not let a void exist in their subs
blizzard (and thus vivendi) have tasted the $$$ involved and will never let it go

Maybe they are too busy to post or they really just don't have anything to say. I'm sure that they do not know more about WWI/D3 then we do (except for the domain transfer date). I know all of this waiting can make you anxious but, calm down! -

I meant MMO in the same sense as WoW. Makes since though, Warcraft 3 was under development the same time WoW was. Diablo 3 could be under development and at the same time they could be working on the Diablo "Next-gen MMO." -

It is startling how little attention the Diablo world receives from Blizzard. I have noticed this even more when shuffling thru the Starcraft/Warcraft stuff to find any hints at Diablo III. I can remember seeing that animation there before. I thought the actual term "ruststorm" referred to the deletion of duped items during a D2 patch.
