Stand up, back away from your computer. Now spin in circles and move fifty feet at the same time you smash everything in your living room or office.
Can't do it gracefully?
That's why it's magic!

Hi,
I am clearly not a "professional" player but I came back in the game this summer after 8 seasons of absence I believe. You should try to get a friend/clan member to guide you in game, but this game is pretty easy to understand quickly.
Also, you should maybe consider doing a fresh start with a seasonal character so you get used to it, and you will also benefit season journey gift (which is a full set for the character you want to play). This season I recommend playing a barbarian, it's pretty easy to understand the mechanics.
As of your current characters, it indeed feels like everything is outdated.

ban all boters, and those that defend bot playing deserves a ban too!

I've seen posts like yours frequently, and out of a matter of simple curiosity i'd like to know.... why are you here. it is one thing to provide constructive criticism for a game in the hopes of making it better... but to post on a diablo forum that the game is dead, and the community is terrible... seems kinda pointless. I dont play wow - never did much for me. But I dont spend my time on the WOW forums insulting the game or its player base. If you truly do not enjoy this game - then remove the fansite from your bookmarks, and move on. There are plenty of things to do on the internet other than insulting strangers, and a game that - contrary to many toxic posts i see - is still alive and well. I truly do wish you all the best in your future endeavors, and hope that you are able to surround yourself with what makes you happy - instead of posting on a forum for a game that clearly does not.

This open letter is just a joke full of hypocrisy...
Just a reminder : bot = turbo hud = D3 helper = scripts = 3rd tier software = advantage over non user of 3rd tier sw => Ban
@hoxango, no you are not legit as you are blatant Turbo Hud user.
Period.

So take out part of the game that has been here since seasons started? Let's use our noggin here. How about instead of tearing parts of the game out that give players long term incentive to play, lets get rid of the cheaters, and the programs used to cheat with. How can your ideas be to remove features from the entire game that have been here for years? What is your mentality to think that is even remotely a good idea? Bottom line is it's on blizzard to rid the game of bots. I doubt that is a high priority for them right now, since D3 is basically in maintenance mode.
Quote from Barly
If you're pro bot, then you're "Gaming Ethics" are bad. For the legit players, bots are a genuine and real concern to fair play, and that is a problem the staff of D3 need to address.
But blizzard just made a game for people concerned about fair play and competition. Overwatch - no bots there. Absolute 0. Amazing isn't it? It's possible to make a game where brainless farm is not the way of progressing! I'm not pro bot, I'm pro players. Everybody should be allowed to play the way they want AS LONG AS THEY DON'T AFFECT THE EXPERIENCE OF OTHER PLAYERS. I could install d2 right now and start botting on my offline local account. Do you have anything against that?
I think there is a solution for non season. Remove leaderboards. DONE. What's the point of leaderboards on non season? To see who is the biggest loser? Who is the closest to human bot? That is insulting and objectifying players, measuring them by the "hours of grind" stick. Makes me wanna puke. Don't you see that there is something wrong with the situation where even the greatest and most skilled player is outclassed by bunch of scripts in the long run?
There are bots in Overwatch. Aim bots, a quick google searched confirmed that.
Removing leaderboards from non season is an absolutely terrible idea in my opinion. If players want to compete, now they are forced to leave their character and play season. How can you call people losers for competing on non season ladder, that's just where they prefer to play, some people don't like to start over...
You say that people who play a lot and are high on the leaderboards is insulting and objectifying players? lol wut? That's like saying it's insulting that people who spend more time at the gym have better bodies. Oh man F that loser who spends more hours in the gym than me, how dare he have bigger muscles, makes me wanna puke!
If you're "pro player" then why do you insult people who have high paragon on non season, and call them losers? You don't seem like you're "pro players", it seems that you feel anyone who plays more than you, and takes D3 serious is wrong, and shouldn't care about leaderboards. Sorry, but it's not up to you how someone should have fun in a game.
I don't know why you mention gym, nobody is putting guys on the leaderboards based on how buff they are. There are some competitions and surely enough, you don't have chance without steroids, just like you don't have chance in d3 without bot. Same thing - just remove the competition if it's making more harm than good.

Actually not. I am just one of the few content creators who care about clean competition and bot-free environment.
You clan is full of bots btw

I agree. thud or bot, they are all cheats so they all should get the same punishment. first people need to realize that and delete any other software that enhances d3 in any way.
the next steps would obviously for blizzard to react and ban accordingly, afterwards we could ask for some legit features to be implemented in an upcoming patch. some useful things that for example thud delivers right now.
one can dream, ...I fear it just wont happen.
look how blizzard handled the last NS cycle. people were essentially encouraged to exploit.
What I'm saying is that I have not much hope for such a petition, especially if the community is pretty separated about what is legit and what is not. What's more important and what's less... it's not really a strong message.

"people who want to play wisely use thud" interessting statement of you sir.
And no. This post was not just about botters. It was from people that claim to play on a fair playingfield and get offended by botters because you guys think they get an unfair advantage.

[Hybrid] – The Hybrids
[ZE] – Zero Emphaty
[PiratE] – The Pirates
[DoW] – DemonsOfWind
[EoD] – Eye of Demons
[VoiD] – VoiD
out of all of these clans. who of them is really "clean"? not using any 3rd party software like thud or d3helper / scripts that allow to change them 25000 paragon points midfight within a second?
None of you guys is clean. None.
You guys just wanna make yourself look like the whiteknights in this post. You guys are no whiteknights. Blizzard also will occasionally ban botters. No need to create multiple threads or letters "from the community".
For our community and Diablo franchise..
Because this discussion not only affecting
the leaderboard and unfair competition, also causes our legit players
being desperate and having argument with whoever using bots.
This part is funny. Who is legit here? Nobody.

Good post. But WQW need to get rid of it's botters in the first place.
