Crusader imo. It has more end game builds/sets(Wiz actually only has 1 atm). Crusader gameplay with these sets is alot funner on the Crusader than the Wiz. The Wiz best set: Firebird is pretty boring. You basically drop Blizzard/Apocalypse and run and hide since the burning affect last forever.
Actually no. Crusader only has 2 sets, and one of them simply reduces the cooldown of one of your skills, compared with the 3 on Wizards side. Granted most saders build are based on weapon/shield, not particularly on sets. But this is also valid for all classes.
As for Wizard sets:
Tal Rasha can be used as a nice multiple elemental meteor build, Vyr is great for archon type of builds (especially combined with this: The Swami) and of course the all powerful Firebird.
As for which is most suited for you is a question you should not ask others. If you like melee or mid range type of characters, go crusader, but know they are slow and rely heavily on cooldowns (as in they are very high for most skills), and on the other hand you have an excellent range class that is very fun and easy to play but very squishy in endgame and less diverse in powerful builds but more diverse in less powerful fun ones.
From the builds perspective it draws down to how far do you want to push them, because if you want to challenge the top the wizard only has one build that can do so, the firebird one, but if you rather chill down on lesser Torments, at least at first, then wiz is your best choice. Again, think long and hard: melee/mid range or range/elemental/spells.
Granted, since you are a noob at this game, you won't get to experience the endgame until 2.1.2 and Season 2 rolls out. So I would read up on those changes and keep an eye out on what's happening on the PTR. Monks seem to cut in front of all other classes.
Actually yes the Wizard only has 1 endgame build the rest are garbage even for T6. The Crusader on the other hand has 3-4 good builds with 2 endgame(Endgame=G rift) builds. And the Wizards best set has the most boring gameplay(After Live Dh's) Drop down Blizzard and run away. B O R I N .

Not from what I'm reading on other forums , sounds like they are in a worse position now than what they were with the new PTR changes . That balance you were talking about , well , I will say this :
they said they would never change the Marauder set , just bring other sets on par with them , also that they never want anyone to feel weaker after a patch .
Guess we will see , but my money is on them being weaker .
They went against everything they said and originally on the PTR DH's were stronger than ever , next PTR update , a little weaker , next update a little weaker . These small changes over time are going to make them weaker than the original set . But doing so at a small increment over time it lulls people into a false sense of security .

Agreed they're doing the same with the Barb set. Honestly it may be time to call it quits. I am sick and tired of puting so much damn time into a char only to see it nerfed.
Go on the D3 forums under "Clans and Communities" Post there what you posted here and you are sure to find a good active clan. But there are gonna be less players on the live servers as everyone is playing PTR(At least a majority of my friends are)
I might be interested. Got to rank 96 on barb season. Have a very good crusader but havent tried to G rift with him(He has gear as good as rank 1 on season Stampede) Currently in my own clan but my clan mates are not very active.
The problem with this set for me is the Fury. How are we gonna keep the fury up? Honestly i think they need to change the ww ring to some fury booster, because if they dont this set is gonna have the same problems as the Roland set for the Crusader.
1. Go for lightning
2. Shouts give you extra fury
3. Weapon master+ mighty weapons
This+ a build paired with other generators.
you won't be able to keep berserker rage up without IK set...but yea. I have no idea how are we suposed to farm other than T6 with this set.

That is not right. I did a 44 G rift and i wasnt one shot and i only had 25 mil Tough. You are either lying or exaggerating. Plus i heard g rift dmg will be lowered.
