They should avoid using CGI when it comes to humans, aka Bewulf... where they all looked like zombies because of how empty their eyes were. The artistic value was fine but it felt awkward nevertheless.
Old horror movies were more terrifying despite using bloody puppet-like monsters, opposed to not so scary CGI monsters from these days. CGI is a tool and should be used accordingly. Gollum from the LotR is the only exception that comes to my mind, where CGI finally delivered something realistically human and credible, behaviour-wise.
Well if one Diablo fanbase site is close to Blizzard, then its www.diabloii.net
Seeing how that site doesn't even allow its members to post a simple avatar [cough], the odds are I'll never join in 1 million years; I'm shallow, sue me !
My biggest fear about Diablo 3 is that it turns out into a pseudo-RPG like WoW; the mmo aspect of WoW is great and convenient, but ugh... the RPG gameplay aspect of it is plain wrong and not very enjoyable; console RPG mechanics are light-years better. If Diablo 3 turns out to be an mmo, fine... as long as there's a storyline... but do not try to make it an RPG, leave that to console gaming companies... Diablo 3 should remain an hack and slash game, that's what makes its gameplay enjoyable and special.
Ugh, that splash screen looks like a simple WW1 advertisement so far, oh well... My fear is that a new game will be announced combining the three worlds, WC SC Diablo. I dread compilations as it seems to be an habit these days, in the gaming industry.
I think it's discussible. I've found it kinda strange when people say things they might not mean, unless it's in one of many special circumstances (hyperbole, comedy/sarcasm, lying for a goal), so personally I don't really say things unless I mean them (unless in certain circumstances), which of course is a logical thing to do, heh.
An issue that seems similar, but is a bit broader/different, is when people are kind of acting nice but aren't really. This can be either an intentional fascade, or they could just be weird and just express themselves in a really strange mix of actions and expression.
At first I thought a teacher I had in high school was sort of the fascade-type person (the only type I thought existed), but once I think about it, maybe some people are just weird that way, and don't necessarily do it intentionally.
I have a weird philosophy in life : I do not lie on purpose ever for any reason; I find lying tiring and it's never really worth it; the point I wanna make though is that having such behaviour will make other people hate you. Like if someone is not very nice looking, I refuse to lie and try to sound like a nice guy by saying he's hot; I'll tell him he isn't the nicest looking guy on earth BUT I'll actually give him advices on how to improve his look and everything. I'm honest yet people will hate me for not lying.
All I heard was you trying to be all knowledgable. Just because you said something interesting in another thread doesn't mean you actually have to make another one.
Point is, if I'm unable to understand what you say based on the posts within the thread itself, mabye it's time for you to consider taking this to PM.

And yes I do love my ability to turn a 6 paragraph long post into 1 sentence.
