Will we be seeing a return of elixirs from Diablo I or anything similar to oils (which added temporary buffs to items) from Hellfire (even though it was a Sierra product)? How about antidote, thawing and/or stamina potions returning from Diablo II? Basically, what types of potions should we expect, aside from the usual health and mana ones?
A link for those of you whom may not remember some of the aforementioned items.

Jul 4, 2008psyfect posted a message on WWI - Diablo III Concept ArtThis is one of the coolest drawings I've seen in a long time. I (edit: had) it as my desktop background. After reading a discussion on what the witch doctor's voice might sound like, I'm really looking forward to hearing it. I hope he sounds like rakanishu (in a unique way, of course), ha ha.Posted in: News

Jun 27, 2008psyfect posted a message on Diablo 3 Forum Template Goes Up On Battle.Net!I honestly feel this is a cover up for the original find of the d3-general 'forums are down' error. It appears people caught on while they were preparing for the release and they attempted to downplay it.Posted in: News
For those whom may not know, this started out with a simple error when navigating to d3-general and the only other site that did it was wow-general, not even d4-general. - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

Edit: Just reread your post. That would be a four month duration. Not to mention the fact that it would be released out of order compared to the manner in which they announced the games. They can do what they want, but I bet some Starcraft 2 fans would be upset.

Now I wouldn't know the release dates for the other games according to that site (you didn't link to them in your thread). Either way, you're stating they're over the course of six months? That would mean November, February and May (if Diablo III is released first) or May, August, November (if Diablo III is last)...being that Diablo III was announced last, based on your six month theory, SC2 and WoTLK should already be out.

Also, I am simply using Project Hydra as terminology to support a concept (I've already stated it is more than likely Diablo III) for ease of readability. By the way, 149 days is 4 months, which is right around December...did you want to support my theory any further?
Also, only one of the two sources was gamespot.

If graphics were unimportant, they could simply release an update to Diablo II. I also understand that that graphics aren't the most important thing, or I'd still be playing Diablo I. I was hoping Diablo III would be a combination of Diablo I graphics (updated to todays standards) with Diablo II game play.
However, it appears to keep the game play with a new direction for graphics. I think the first level looked phenomenal when I witnessed it for the first time, so I just want them to release the game as soon as possible. Even if it took two seconds to change the color scheme, that would be two seconds to long to push back the release date/time.
The video game itself is a contrast to real life.

Some notable points of interest:
Diablo 3 (bottom of page): 12/31/08
Starcraft 2: 12/03/08
Warth of the Lich King: 11/03/08
Each title is slated (roughly) one month apart. We think Blizzard has been planning this, and while the dates may be changed/pushed back, the important thing to notice is the closeness of the dates.
