Even though that was a problem on the old B-net, I doubt it would be now. With the insane upgrades in technology and the fact that B-net could hold tens of thousands of people at once, I think the lagging will be minimal.
I hope that they decide to keep at least 8 per game and if not at least 6 but 4 seems way to small for a diablo game.

No it wasnt, the worldstone has been in Sanctuary for a LONG time, during most of that time yes, it was hidden from heaven and hell while they battled during the Great Conflict.
But either Lilith or Inarius did something to Trag'Oul or Rathma (the one cloakin Sanctuary all along) i cant explain i just heard it from some place and i stake my life and my family's that it's true, i promise

Inarius created Sanctuary and Stole the Worldstone and Trag'Oul (not knowing he stole the dragon too, then he used the Worldstone to hide Sanctuary from Heaven and Hell (it was somehow Trag'Oul's task, for his back is where the world lies) then Lilith and Inarius (Because Lilith wanted to use the Nephalem as an unbeatable army while Inarius wanted worshippers) got into a fight and Lilith killed all the demons and angels, then he used the worldstone to weaken the Nephalem. Now Before Lilith was banished (or after) she does something to Trag'Oul that prevents him from cloaking Sanctuary...

Sanctuary was NEVER hidden from hell in any of the games, besides it happened in the past and Diablo 1 is in the future, after the Sin war and the Dark Exile (mhmmm damn i think so, again) but after the Sin War definitely.

im sorry dude but you are wrong, there comes one point where (in the novels i think) that Liliith did something To Trag'Oul or Rathma (damn i cant remember anything) that brought him down to the level where he can no longer cloak Sanctuary from Hell or Heaven, (he came with the worldstone)

and in the expansion i think there is a crack that leads to hell (i havent played it, i've seen my friend play it tho) somewhere in the outskirts of Tristram

i've actually heard somewhere that (well in D2) that it was unknown why tristram was shown as a lil town or why the lil church was shown smaller
