Just want to point it out that the sorceress video, her robe is just soo cool. It would be a shame to lose it for a leather/plate armour. Unique/rare robes FTW!!

posted a message on Sorceress armours..........
I'm hoping that we get specific robes/armours for certain characters in D3. I did'nt like the idea that we did'nt have robes for the sorceress in D2. I really did'nt like that my only option for armours was heavy plates/leather armours on my sorceress. It just didnt look cool. Also what would be sweet is circlets or that style of headbands specifically for the sorceress.

I just dont like a sorceress looking like a paladin when fully armoured.

    Quote from "Eve" »
Many people underestimated the worth of gold in D2 because they found that time was better spent farming bosses than farming gold.

I had better chances of getting good items when fighting repeated bosses and the enemies getting to those bosses and repeat again. This was better than gathering items for trade and hogging gold to gamble for weak items.

posted a message on Ooo Gambling Idea!
Gambling in the beginning was tough cause of lack of gold to make it worth while. And by the time you got a good deal of gold you pretty much have a decent set of items already. By the time you reach a certain level, the items that were recieved during gambling became useless. I'd rather purchase a single superb item for $500,000 gold than gamble it all away for something uselesss. They need to revamp the items recieved and their fees when gambling. This is my opinion

I hope we get a better save game system during single player. Something like where you can make multiple save files of your progress and wish to return to a certain point back.

    Quote from "snail19" »
No. Personally I hate day and night in games. Keep the towns daytime to give them a "warm" and "safe" feeling and make the scariest, grungiest areas of the map dark and at night.
Well, when you enter the towns at night, it should be lit by other sources of lights like torches or lanterns around the homes.

I know that some of the screenshots you see nights, which are amazing, but am wondering if they cycle.

Does anyone know if the game is going to have a day and night cycle throughout all the levels? I was thinking that a certain level will be all night and others will be daylight.

posted a message on What Bill Roper Thinks About Diablo 3.
I do like alot of the atmosphere in some of the screenshots. Especially those night shots which are truly amazing!!

What i'm not too crazy about are the overuse of rainbow lighting. I also dont like some of the enemies in the demo video. That stay puft tattooed character screams of cheeze a lot with the over-the-top, massivly huge boss at the end of the vid. I thought it was overkill in size. The barbarian with the over-exaggerated body armour is just silly. So some aspects of the game needs to be toned down in scale. Let's keep that cartoonish style out of this game please :(

posted a message on Food and resting
Resting was great in older RPG games. In ultima4, you had to get certain items at certain times of the day or night. You had to get ingredients that grew at particular times of day/night to make spells.
Imagine this, having to enter a particular place thats known to have high level monsters at certain times of day/night. If you feel bold and skilled enough, maybe you can kick their asses and get their loot and whatever you are after. If you feel its too hard, you rest away the hours and get in there to get what you need. This would be perfect for side quests to make it easier or challenging for the player.
At night time, certain areas of the map would have higher level of monsters and would be risky to travel through. It would be challenging for the skilled and easier to get around for the lesser experienced.

Please understand, im an older rpg player back in the early ultima/bards tale days. Im not familiar with Wow or the other crappier rpgs:D

    And.............whatever happened to foods?

    Yeah yeah, I know, its hack'n'slash not biscuits'n'nap :D
