I have actually, but did i say anything was wrong with wizard? All i said was from my experience with it ( limited as PTR servers are laggy ), the buff to firebird is noticable, hence why i said "i personally like the new firebird set". Only reason I question whether it is working as intended when comboed with MM conflag is the fact that they gave it a condition for the set bonus to become a perma dot, but as it stands right now... 1 MM conflag can chain the dot to be permanent as well.

Can I ask, what classes have damage that scale with the rift besides monk EP? which blizzard has stated they were gonna look into. (btw, the change to the EP fist weapon... was that supposed to be a nerf? cause... it seems like a buff to me). I don't think blizzard wants our abilities to scale with the rift, which is why they were talking about addressing EP.

I'm not quite sure because I think the leg gems are still bugged in PTR... but on the main page where it shows all the gems... some numbers are shown in blue... which makes me believe scales with the rank of the gem, that you upgrade by going further into GRs... So couldn't you scale your MM Conflag higher with the primary skill gem? making the 130% per stack get higher as your gem gets stronger?

On top of all of this, Blizzard has come out before and said they wanted to make sets tiered above regular legendaries, which makes me believe they want us using sets end game. The new firebird set makes up for the "nerf" to conflag to me. MM Conflag and FB sync together by having FB refresh Conflag, which loops back and activates FB. Meaning you won't have to reach 3000% weapon dmg for the perma dot... the one Conflag you cast continuously refreshes 2 dots now ( with FB set ).

I'm not trying to step on anyones toes, as the PTR hasn't cooperated with me too well... but I know that my wizard can clear T5/6 a heck of alot easier now than live. If anything I said above is mistaken... please let me know. But as for taking the scaling out of conflag, I think blizzard is trying to move the scaling into the gems and out of our abilities. Because that way you have to clear GRs and upgrade your gem to progress further and further. I'm sure we can agree that blizzard knows what THEY want us to play, and they always push us towards it. And they want us doing GRs.

    Quote from RockmanDoom
Im confused by the Furnace, I though it has a chance to deal the 6-8% damage everytime you deal damage, but it seems like he only deals damage once then just runs around. Is this how furnace works, because it honestly looks (At least to me) like the effect described by the new Firebird's. But can someone confirm this is how The Furnace works, I have never tried it myself.

Also, it appears that he is wearing 5 pieces of Firebirds with an RROG but I could be wrong.
The damage in the video is from the furnace. But the reason he only attacked once in the video is because MM Conflag applies a fire dot, then the firebird's new 6pc set bonus makes it so any fire damage dealt is dealt again as a dot over 3 seconds, then MM Conflag refreshes and stacks itself up to 3 whenever fire damage is done (firebird set bonus dot), then the new stacked MM Conflag reactivates the set... which refreshes Conflag... and so on.

Don't know if it's working as intended... but I personally like the new firebird set. I've had 6 pieces of firebird stashed away for a long time... switched to WD cause I couldn't really get many more upgrades for my wizard, both similarily geared but wizard had trouble with survivability in T5... but I got on the PTR today and breezed thru T5 with no trouble at all, like my WD would... so I'm happy with the change personally.
