It's not that I think it's not real if I didn't see it, it's just HARD to believe when NOBODY in the history of the world has ever seen it. Because scientists gather information about whatever they are trying to learn more about, how do you study angels and such beings? If there were facts how do you know they are facts if nobody proved them?

    lol...so..thers some athiests here <_<
question. what about the idea that something created everything is illogical??i just dont get how its illogical. who made the house your in? obviously a big bang didnt make it. so whos to say that something didnt create us? to completely abandon the thought of religion which was held in belief by your entire species is completely stupid, not even ignorent. to think that "theres no proof" is thinking most definitly inside the box, maybe there is some sort of matter that we are unable to detect and a light by which is out of our visual persective. to come on and just try to shut down any idea of their existence is somewhat rude to the thread if ya ask me, its ment for discussion not for argument and to offend

    Sorry then.

Well how do you know angels look like humans if you don't think they exist?

Besides, what about other dimensions that science theorizes in, rather then appearing in the 3rd dimension they may only transcend in a higher dimension so it is impossible for us to view them.

Something along those lines is actually explained in one of C.S. Lewis' books. I forget what it's called. It might be "Out of the Silent Planet".

No I did not. But that doesn't help your argument whatsoever.

Why couldn't people have made up science? Why can't it be all be a conspiracy? And how do you know that people made up god and angels? Did you see it happen?

In case you're wondering at what I'm getting at. I'm getting at that you should not make such ignorant statements (Referring to your original statement). It makes you look...well ignorant.

    1. Are you serious? Did you not see the picture on the first page of this thread? Let's go with that.

    2. Doesn't help my argument? You asked if I seen the Big Bang.

    3. You can prove science, therefore it's real. Can you prove angels and God?

You can't- you assess the situation based on the evidence you are provided and/or find yourself (I.E. what your school textbooks tell you, what you see in scientific phenomena, etc.) and then make your assessment. The assessment, however, is based on faith in the facts as being true, unbiased, and that the evidence is still observable, as in that it is still preserved in pictures, videos, or is still physically observable. Did I get that right?

Makes sense to me. I'm no scientist but I'm pretty sure they believe in their findings and studies, not what other people made up to have something to believe in.

How can one see an angel?

And if you wish another example, have you seen Pluto? neutrons? the earth from anywhere besides the earth, to show that it's round? Have you seen Antarctica?

EDIT: Here's one, have you seen me?

(Can't believe I didn't think of that before.)

Well if angels are somewhat like humans, don't you expect to see them? Things like the Big Bang was before our time...did you see your mother before you were born?

    Have I seen you? haha

Angels are religious beings...Science is based on facts, theories, and how the world works.
